Hello guyss! Guess who's back!
Before I begin, Thank you soo sooo much to all of you for your votes and support<33
This book crossed 1.5K reads!! and I'm soo happy😭😭.Now regarding this one-shot, I recently watched the haunted house SKZ Code (ep 9 ig), and seeing Felix being scared (rather terrified) like that was totally relatable😭like man, i would have been in a much much worse state than that. So, I've written this one imagining myself in place of poor Felix .
(Though I feel that my soul would have left my body right at the first jump scare lol)--------------------------------------------------------------------------
The night was unsettling from the start. The air outside was thick with a biting chill that seeped through the cracks in the walls. The sky, veiled by a blanket of dark clouds, left no trace of moonlight to soothe the shadows that crept through the building. Stray Kids were gathered in a small room, huddled together in anticipation of the night's challenge-a game designed to test their courage and wits. It was just another day of filming an episode for SKZ Code, but it was also meant to be a fun time for all the members. All except one. For one member, the test was more than a just simple game.
Felix was never one for horror. The very mention of ghosts or dark places made his heart race, and tonight, everything about the setting seemed tailored to his worst fears. Shadows danced on the walls, dim lights flickered ominously, and the faint sounds of wind howling through the building's old windows created an eerie backdrop. It didn't help that Chan and Changbin had already gone out for the challenge, and their screams echoed from a distance, sending shivers down Felix's spine.
As the others sat together, exchanging ghost stories with barely concealed excitement, Felix felt the growing pit of anxiety in his stomach. His legs were shaking, and his heart pounded loud enough in his chest that he was sure everyone around could hear it.
"Hey! Even I have one!" Han exclaimed as he began narrating his horror story. "So there was this small cabin in the middle of the forest, and one day after work, a few people went to rest inside it since it was already late. There were a lot of paintings on the walls, portraits of people painted in colours like black and red. The people observed the paintings closely and one of the them pointed at one saying 'this one's really ugly'. After that all of them ate, chatted and went to sleep. The next morning when they woke up, they saw that there were no paintings at all...all of them were windows-"
Felix's usually bright, cheerful face became pale with dread as he thought about what Jisung's story had meant. (A/N: It's truly creepy if you think about it😭)
"Hyung, do we really have to do this?" Felix's voice was small, almost pleading, as he clutched his arms tightly to his chest. .
Minho, sitting beside him, raised an eyebrow, giving Felix a teasing grin. "Come on, Felix. It's just a game. There's nothing real out there. You don't believe all these stories, do you?" His tone was light, but Felix could hear the slight amusement behind it.
Felix shook his head. "I- I don't! But-" His voice cracked, a tremble running through his body as another faint scream echoed from the far end of the building.
The game was simple enough on paper-solve riddles in pairs in order to collect puzzle pieces. But the twist was in the setting. The old building had been transformed into a haunted house of sorts, complete with fake ghosts, eerie props, and jump scares. For most of the group, it was a fun, spooky game-a test of bravery. But for Felix, it was a nightmare waiting to unfold.
Just as the creepy horror story session seemed to come to an end, the scary voice from the speakers suddenly crackled to life.
"Next up... Lee Know and Felix," it announced, the eerie tone sending a chill down Felix's spine. "Tie your arms together and bring back the puzzle from the second floor art room."
