☼☾ MELTING . . .

( 006. admirer )

real life

Aurora arrived at the carpet of the Kid's Choice Awards, flashing cameras and yelling voices. She smiled at the paparazzi, kept an eye out for her friends, pausing and posing whatsoever. Everything was very uninteresting in her books until she made it to the interviews. Immediately her eyes landed on a mop of blonde curls that felt all too familiar. She tried to avoid him by walking away, that was until she heard her name being called by the interview right next to him.

Aurora did her best pleasant smile as she approached, Walker's eyes being drawn to her instantly. Blue eyes taking in the pink checkered outfit to the softly curled brown hair, basically completely zoning out the interviewer's voice as he stared at the brunette girl.  "Looks like someone's got an admirer." The interviewer in front of Aurora teased.

Aurora only chuckled, sparing a glance at Walker (despite wanting to stare at him very badly.). "I suppose I do." After the interview was over, Aurora searched high and low for her friends. When she spotted Aliyah and her boyfriend, she squealed throwing her arms up around the girl. "Okay couple goals, with the matching fits." Aurora compliment twirling Aliyah around as Dylan chuckled.

After Aliyah stopped spinning, she turned to her best friend "Have you seen Mia?" She frowned at the loss of their third, keeping their hands interlocked. Aurora shrugged, "Most likely trying to flirt with Mckenna again." she mumbled, with a small chuckle at the thought of their friend.

Soon enough the two girls were skipping along in search of their best friend, only to find her exactly how they expected, the raven-haired girl leaned against a table as she grinned at the blonde girl. Mckenna covered her mouth as she laughed at whatever ridiculous thing spewed from Mia's mouth, that was until the girl was attacked as her two best friends jumped on her from behind.

Mia let out a yell that some would describe as 'lowercase', as Aliyah and Aurora giggled. "Hello to you too." Mia chuckled, hugging her friends back.

After Aurora somehow was able to tear away from her friends she went to find her seat. Wandering aimlessly as she tried to recall the directions she was told.

"Hey."

Aurora's eyes snapped to the same blonde curls from earlier, and a smile burst on to her face. "Hi." she murmured, as the boy got up and with a smile the two reached out for a hug. It was extremely awkward but despite that Aurora tried to make it as casual as possible. "It's nice to finally see you." she smiled as they let go, Walker's hands still resting on her shoulders.

"You too..." Walker mumbled, his eyes looking over her outfit. "I like this pink." He smiled at her, letting his hands fall. He moved around to hold his arm out, "Ladies first." allowing her to walk to her seat first.

"I'm sitting next to you?" Aurora asked, her voice a little shocked as there was a blush on her cheeks from his casual compliment. "I like this little brown suit moment." She chuckled, gesturing up and down at his outfit, Aurora moved past him to sit down.

"Mhm... Thanks. They made me sing some weird song about it earlier." Walker smiled amusedly, sitting down in the end seat next to her.

Aurora's eyes widen as she hits hit arm gently, "Oh my god, me too! It was so embarrassing." She covered her mouth as she began to giggle.

Walker watched her with his own growing grin, "Can't be more embarrassing than mine."
