Previously on Hide and Seek..
I was so scared... scared that you'd see me differently, that you'd push me away," Emiko confessed, her voice trembling. Kirishima shook his head gently, his grip on her hand tightening.
"Never, Emi. You're stronger than you know, and we'll face everything together you aren't alone now.. you have us.. and you have Hawks," he reassured her. They sat there in the quiet room, the bond between them growing stronger with each passing moment. The future was uncertain, but with Kirishima by her side, Emiko felt ready to face whatever came next.
..........
"Okay, someone tell me what's going on and why the hell this classroom is so quiet." Aizawa sat up from his sleeping bag, looking around the class. This was the second day of complete silence in the classroom. No one knew what to say. They were still in shock from learning about Emiko's background.
"Nothing's wrong, Sir!" Ochako answered, and the rest of the class nodded their heads and started agreeing with her.
"If you don't tell me now, everyone's getting after-school training until the sun comes up." Mr. Aizawa glared at his students and started to lay back into his sleeping bag. "Okay then, everyone stay—"
"I told them about... my past..." Emiko said in a whisper, loud enough for Aizawa to hear, which definitely took him by surprise by the look on his face.
'Emiko... were you forced into it? Because if you did so, help me...' Aizawa thought to himself, his eyes soft and caring.
"No... I told them by choice. I didn't want to keep them in the dark anymore. It felt wrong after they all showed me nothing but love and respect..." Emiko turned around to her classmates and gave them all a smile that could lighten up a darkened room.
'We love you, Emi...' the class thought.
'I love you, Emi,' Kirishima thought.Aizawa's eyes softened even more as he looked at Emiko. He knew how hard it must have been for her to open up about her past. "Alright, everyone. No after-school training today. Emiko, I'm proud of you for being brave and honest."
The class let out a collective sigh of relief. Emiko's smile grew wider, and she felt a warm sense of belonging. Kirishima couldn't take his eyes off her, his admiration growing stronger.
As the day went on, the classroom slowly returned to its usual lively atmosphere. Emiko's revelation had brought them closer together.
...........
"Listen, you damn nerd, you need to learn how to protect yourself, okay?" Bakugou said to Emiko as he got his quirk ready, the familiar crackling of explosions filling the air.Emiko looked up at Bakugou, her eyes wide but determined. She knew he was right, even if his delivery was harsh. "Alright, Bakugou. Show me what to do."
Bakugou smirked, a glint of approval in his eyes. "Good. First, you need to learn how to dodge. If you can't dodge, you're just a sitting duck." He launched a small explosion towards her, testing her reflexes.
Emiko managed to sidestep just in time, feeling the heat brush past her. She could hear Bakugou's thoughts, his internal monologue clear as day. 'She's got potential, but she's too soft. I need to push her harder.'
"Again!" Bakugou barked, sending another explosion her way. Emiko dodged again, this time with a bit more confidence. She could sense his satisfaction, even if he didn't show it.
'She's getting better. Maybe she's not as hopeless as I thought,' Bakugou thought, watching her movements closely. "Now, try to counterattack. Use your quirk!"
