Faye Malisorn's POV
After a long stretch of hectic schedules and endless shoots, I'm finally home, grateful for this brief respite.
Tanya and Pam arrive at my place, and I'm in the middle of preparing dinner for us all. The kitchen is filled with the comforting aroma of spices and cooking food.
Pam is dancing around in the room with boundless energy, her movements matching the beat of the music that plays in the background.
She's singing along with the lyrics in a mix of enthusiasm and playful laughter.
As Pam dances, a wide grin on her face, Tanya decides to join in. Watching the two of them goof around in sync with the rhythm of the music, I can't help but laugh at their carefree, child-like joy.
"C'mon, Faye! Dance with us!" Pam calls out, still moving to the music.
I shake my head. "No, no," I protest jokingly, holding my hands up in surrender. "You guys keep dancing, I need to finish this."
They make their way to me in the kitchen, both energized from the music and each other.
They start dancing around me, but I'm in the middle of cooking, stirring the pot and chopping vegetables. I laugh at their antics, gesturing for them to leave me alone.
"I can't dance right now," I protest, "Can't you see? I'm in the middle of cooking."
"C'mon, Faye," Pam urges, trying to pull me away from the stove.
"Paaaaam!"
"Join us, stop being so serious."
Their playful pleading and infectious energy wears me down, and I can't resist their insistence anymore. Laughing, I put down the ladle and spice jar, wiping my hands on a kitchen towel.
"Alright, alright," I acquiesce, "I'll dance for a bit. But you two better not distract me too much, I still have dinner to cook."
I join them in their dance, shaking my hips and letting loose a little bit. The laughter and music fill the room, creating a cheerful atmosphere. But I make sure to return to the cooking every now and then, checking on the progress of our meal.
After dancing for a few minutes, Pam suddenly pipes up, her tummy rumbling.
"Fuuuuck," she groans, rubbing her stomach. "I'm starving. I need food now!"
I laugh at her exaggerated expression, raising the ladle in a playful threat.
"If you two hadn't forced me to dance and let me cook in peace, the food would've been ready by now," I tease.
Tanya and Pam both give a sheepish grin, knowing they're partly to blame for the delay in the meal.
"Oops, sorry about that," Tanya grins, a hint of mischievousness in her eyes.
I shake my head, still amused by their antics.
"It's alright," I say, returning to the stove and continuing to prepare the food. "Just give me a few more minutes, and I'll have dinner ready for us all."
As I'm near the stove, adding the finishing touches to the meal, Pam suddenly calls out from the other room.
"Faye, your phone is ringing!"
I look up, a bit flustered, thinking it might be Yoko calling. I quickly wipe my hands on a towel, walking over to the phone.
"Who is it?"
Pam grins, her teasing nature coming through.
"Who could it be?" she asks, a hint of mischief in her eyes. "Could it be Yoko, maybe?"
