General and Crown Prince

When they reached the palace Aaron was still dozing and Ace didn't wake him up. He lifted him and walked towards his chamber. On the way, he met ministers, courtiers, maids, and guards. They were all stupefied to see Ace smiling. For them, these past months have been cold in the palace. Even though winter arrive only now. But seeing the person in his embrace they felt more shocked. The cold General is being lifted by the King.

They gossiped in low. But Ace's smile never faded. His heart was jumping with joy. The fresh feeling, he felt is cool. He took off his clothes and went to the bath. He bathed Aaron and laid him to sleep. Aaron didn't wake up the entire time. During this, he saw some fresh wounds. His expression was pain, and he muttered, "Liar, you would never take care of yourself if not for me". He left after staying just looking at him for hours to arrange his dinner after making him sleep in a bed.

The imperial kitchen was upside down. The cook and helpers were standing at the side the entire time. They saw this emperor with elegance making dishes using different type of ingredients. It lasted for more than they thought. He made new ingredients. It took him almost six hours to complete the whole dishes. They can't help but admire his love for Daniel is unmatched. No emperor had even entered the kitchen just for their wife. Ace is the first one. The court scribe who saw this wrote everything down in his books.

Aaron slept till night. When he opened his eyes, he was alone. Seeing no one around him, he left the bed and saw his clothes change into a soft white robe. The wound has been bandaged. It seems he was freshened by someone. He knows who did this without waking him up. He looked outside the balcony. He saw it was snowing outdoors. He stood on the terrace looking at endless snow far away. The winter is very chilly, but he still stood there without moving. He felt incredibly at peace and fresh.

The snowflake touched his warm skin melting straight away. The freezing but beautiful winter season. Like everything which lives would return to the dirt, everything which is hot will someday become cold, no one lives forever. But if one could see the magnificence of it, dead is not too terrifying. He was captivated by the scene, and he didn't notice Ace come back. Probably because he doesn't guard against him. If it was someone else, he would have known. Some people would always be special in every sense.

Ace asked, "What are you doing out there? Wanting to get cold, huh?"

Aaron looked back as he said, "Oh, you came back! Let's go inside." He added, "This place is very good. The scene is very glamorous, so I couldn't take my eyes off it."

He sighed and saw warm dishes placed in from of him. Ace held his hands and tug him to sit. His voice softer, "Eat something. You snoozed instantly without eating anything."

"Did you have your dinner?" Ace nodded, so Aaron without protest ate his full. All dishes were his favorite. He never thought, this type of care, he would receive. His face loosened up a lot.

Aaron has his cheeks bulged a little making him look like a child, "Dinner is particularly tastier today."

Ace laughed and said, "It's because I made it."

Aaron swallowed the food and exclaimed, "Really!"

Ace nodded as he watched him eating. His eyes were smiling. Aaron said looking at his eyes, "Does his majesty have anything to say?"

Ace laughed and replied, "I want to know numerous things but not today." Aaron finished eating after a while. He looks at the time and saw it was only a while after the nightfall.

"Want to take a bath?"

Aaron refused straight, "No you go. I think you cleaned me before."

His heart beating loud. He didn't dare to look at Ace and strolled towards the terrace again. Wanting the heat to dissipate. But how can Ace let him go? Right as he stepped Ace pulled him to squeeze.
