☼When roommates made their way to Hansol's car, the younger rushed over to Seungkwan's side and opened the car door for him before he could causing Seungkwan to widen his eyes and smile "Oo~ What a gentleman" he teased and Hansol looked away shyly, still holding the door open, waiting for the older to get in.
Soon both of them were inside with the younger driving. "Where are we going?" Seungkwan asked, looking at Hansol when he realized the road they were taking wasn't familiar to him. Hansol just shrugged, still feeling shy and unsure of himself. "Well, I saw this really cute art-themed cafe not too far from here and thought we could go there. We don't have to if you don't like the idea though" Hansol rambled, shaking his head to stop himself from making himself sound like a fool and Seungkwan just smiled and intertwined their hands, shocking the younger, who blushed slightly, the tip of his ears turning red.
"That sounds great, Hansollie" Seungkwan reassured and Hansol nodded, both finding comfort in the warmth of their locked hands.
The older connected his phone to the car with the help of Hansol so they could listen to some music. Carpool karaoke was probably Seungkwan's favorite activity. And that's how they spent their way to the cafe, with Seungkwan singing random songs, and Hansol laughing aloud at his antics, occasionally joining him in singing when he knew the lyrics. It was fun, they both thought. They never realized when they stopped being awkward. It usually took Hansol a while to warm up to people but with Seungkwan, everything came naturally to him. Seungkwan made it so easy for Hansol to just relax and show a part of himself he never knew existed.
As Seungkwan and Hansol walked in, a bell above the door rang and they were immediately enveloped by the inviting atmosphere of the place. Soft, amber-hued lights glowed over the wooden tables and mismatched chairs scattered around the cozy space. Canvass and vibrant artwork are placed randomly all around. Shelves filled with vintage books and some flower pots painted messily, giving it a certain artistic vibe. Behind the counter, the baristas in aprons were nodding their heads to the smooth jazz melody playing through the cafe as they brewed the orders, getting creative with the latte art, looking satisfied with every order they give. The cinnamon-y scent of the baked goods and the freshly ground coffee immediately put a smile on Seungkwan's face as he inhaled the sweet aroma of it all.
The two found themselves drawn to a table on the corner, liking the big window next to it, showing a pretty view of the bustling city. "It's so pretty!" Seungkwan exclaimed, scanning the charming interior as they took their seats. "I'm glad you like it" Hansol replied, smiling in relief, feeling accomplished.
Looking through the menu, Seungkwan decided to enjoy a simple iced americano while Hansol ordered himself hot chocolate, both also getting a slice of cake to share. A few minutes later their order arrived and the waitress informed the two that they could try doing some of the activities they had. "You could paint a canvas or some pottery. You could choose what you would like from this corner and pick your choice of colors as well" she said, pointing at the other side, where a shelf as big as the wall was placed with multiple new canvases and some plates and cups as well.
Nodding to the barista, the duo got up and made their way to the shelf to pick what they wanted to paint, Seungkwan immediately grabbed a small bowl, feeling excited before he turned and noticed the focused expression on the younger's face. "Why is he so serious about this?~," he thought, adoring the small pout Hansol was making he looked around to figure out what he wanted.
"Need help?" He offered and Hansol immediately nodded, feeling a weight lifting off his shoulders causing the older to laugh out loud "How cute?" he heard Seungkwan say.
