☼Seungcheol entered his and his husband's room opened the closet, and reached his hand to the furthest back of it, revealing a huge dusty box. Taking it out, he wiped the box with a wet tissue and smiled, satisfied.
Returning to the living room with the box, he placed it on the ground with a huff, groaning at how heavy it was. "Look what I found!" he exclaimed grabbing everyone's attention.
"No way!" Soonyoung gaped, with a surprised smile.
"What's that?" Wonwoo asked, confused, having never seen the box before.
"This box holds all this family's memories. Pictures, projects, everything" Jihoon explained to his brother-in-law, getting up to open it.
"No, not yet. We'll let the birthday boys blow their candles and then open it" Jisoo said, stopping his son just in time for Jeonghan to bring in the cake with lit candles, singing Happy Birthday for the youngest two.
Everyone joined along in singing, their voices as one as Mingyu and Seungkwan waited, awkwardly clapping waiting for them to stop.
"Happy birthday to you~" the family finally finished and the twins blew the candles, making their wishes. Everyone clapped for them before Soonyoung interrupted them by running to the box and opening it.
Jeonghan chuckled at his son's childlike behavior as they settled around the box, carefully taking out each photo album and file.
The box contained many albums, CDs, letters, and more. Each one carries a special memory. A core memory for them as a family.
"Soonie, take out yours and Jihoon's first. We'll go through them all one by one" Jeonghan instructed to help organize the chaos.
"Hell no, we're starting with you three" Soonyoung said, pointing at his fathers and father-in-law and pulling out their high school yearbooks.
"Your uniforms were so bland" Seungkwan commented, shaking his head in disappointment at the fashion taste as they looked at the group photos.
Suddenly a photo slipped from between the papers. Curious, Jihoon picked it up and gasped. "Wow, dad. I can't believe this"
As if realizing what his son was talking about, Jisoo quickly got up trying to snatch the picture away from his hands, but to no avail, Jihoon had already started showing it around the room, and some gasps and oos were heard.
The photo captured Jisoo dressed in an oversized, neon-green superhero costume, with a cape and a dramatic silly pose. He was caught mid-performance at a costume party, striking a pose that was over-the-top and hilarious.
Seungkwan and Mingyu took the photo, clutching their stomachs at how hard they were laughing unable to take their dad seriously.
"Jisoo, my love, this is surprisingly hot" Seokmin joked, fueling everyone's laughter and Jisoo just flushed, embarrassed.
"Aww look we're in this pic Jihoonie" Soonyoung said, pointing at the very pregnant Jeonghan and Sooji who were standing next to a very sweaty Seungcheol, all three of them dressed in basketball jerseys. Jeonghan's and Seungcheol's had Seungcheol's name on it with the number 88 and Sooji's had Jisoo's name with the number 12.
The trio smiled at the picture, feeling nostalgic as they remembered the day.
"That was when Jisoo and Seungcheol won their last basketball game in the school's team before graduation" Jeonghan explained to their sons who nodded in understanding, also smiling.
