Prompt: one where Rahul acts as the older brother taking care of Virat when Virat got injured

Virat slumped on the ground, exhausted from practice. He watched his teammates working hard, and with no one's eyes on him, he arched his back slightly to relieve the pain he'd been experiencing since the morning.

Suddenly, a towel landed on his face, causing him to fall back with an "oomph."

"Kya kar rha hai?" Rohit asked, joining his best friend and lying down beside him.

An annoyed Virat removed the towel from his face and smacked Rohit with it.

"Mar rha hun, tujhe problem hai?"

"Mereko leke marna phir, mai bore ho jaaunga na," Rohit grinned.

Virat simply rolled his eyes.

"Tu yaha kyu aaya?"

Rohit scoffed.

"Tu nhi batayega toh jaise I wouldn't know na? Peeche ghum, I'll massage your back a bit, chal ghum jaa."

Virat stared at him in alarm. Shit! Of course, his best friend knew.

"Massage nhi chahiye, and tu kisi ko nhi batayega." Rohit now rolled his eyes.

"If and only if it got better, or you won't play," Rohit shrugged his shoulders.

"But I'm the captain!" Virat yelled indignantly.

Rohit looked at him in a "so what" manner. Virat sighed. He could never win with his best friend.

"Deal?" Rohit asked with raised eyebrows.

Virat caved in. "Deal."

Rahul took a short drink break from his practice when he noticed his two seniors lying side by side and talking about something. They looked pretty serious, and knowing the chaotic duo, they were never serious. At least not together.

Concerned, Rahul walked toward them.

But just as he was about to reach them, he saw how Rohit stood up and helped Virat to his feet, who seemed to be gritting his teeth, maybe in pain. Rahul watched them walk away, supporting each other and became determined to find the reason for their weird behaviour.

Rohit took Virat to his room and, after much insistence, left him alone to rest, as practice was almost over, anyway. But Virat requested him to supervise in his absence.

"Oh, Benstokes! Aaj nhi yaar!" Virat mumbled painfully as he tried to lie down on the bed.

"What happened, Virat? Why remember Benstokes again?" Rahul suddenly popped into the room with a smile, and his sudden appearance startled Virat.

"Aah! Rahuliyaa! Why are you scaring me?!" Virat chided lightly.

Rahul sat near him, still smiling. "Aap theek nhi lag rhe," he said, watching Virat twist and turn to find a more comfortable position.

Virat threw him an annoyed look and started to sit up when Rahul helped him and placed multiple pillows behind his back. Virat sighed in relief, his eyes closing. Rahul frowned.

"Bhai? What's paining?"

Virat bit his tongue at the blunder he'd made. His kid sensed that he was in some sort of pain and now they would monitor him strictly. Virat groaned internally before facing Rahul.
