The dim lights in Virat Kohli's living room reflect the tense atmosphere. Virat paces back and forth, his expression torn between anger and worry. His jaw is tight, and his hands clench and unclench in a rhythm as he waits for Rahul to arrive. The door finally opens, and Rahul steps in, eyes downcast, shoulders hunched in a way that makes him look far smaller than his usual confident self.

Rahul: whispering "Bhai... I'm so sorry..."

Virat doesn't reply immediately, simply stares at him with an intensity that makes Rahul flinch. The silence stretches, heavy and uncomfortable, before Virat finally speaks, his voice low and restrained.

Virat: "You're sorry. Sorry. Do you have any idea, Rahul, how much damage you've caused? You went there and threw every ounce of dignity we've built into the trash, like it was nothing!"

Rahul winces, taking a step back. Virat's anger is like a physical force, and he can barely meet his eyes. He's seen Virat frustrated before, seen him yell on the field, but this... this is different. This feels personal.

Rahul: voice cracking "Bhai... I didn't mean for any of this to happen. I... I didn't know what to say. It just... it just came out."

Virat: sarcastically "It just came out? Those words, that attitude—was it all just an accident? You didn't think for a second how it might hurt your family? Our team?"

Rahul's eyes glisten, but he swallows, trying to keep his emotions in check.

Rahul: whispering "I know I messed up. I can't take back what I said, but... please, bhai, I didn't mean to embarrass you. I just got... I got caught up in the moment."

Virat closes his eyes, the initial anger beginning to dissolve into something else. He knows Rahul like a younger brother, knows he's more than the reckless person he came off as. His frustration is still there, but seeing Rahul looking so defeated... it pulls at something inside him.

Virat: softening, but still firm "Rahul, you don't get it. You're part of this family—my family. What you do reflects on all of us. And you know, this isn't about me being embarrassed. It's about you throwing away respect you've worked your whole life to build."

Rahul's hands begin to shake as he realizes the full weight of what he's done. The guilt that's been eating at him since that night finally overcomes him, and he sits heavily on the couch, burying his face in his hands.

Rahul: barely holding back tears "I thought... I thought I was just having fun, being a little reckless. But I hurt you... I hurt our team. I didn't mean to be that guy, bhai. I don't want to be that guy."

The last of Virat's anger melts away as he sees Rahul's broken state. He sighs, running a hand through his hair, before moving to sit beside him.

Virat: sighing "Rahul, look, I know everyone makes mistakes. But you have to understand, this isn't just about what happened on a TV show. It's about knowing who you are, what you stand for. If you want to go far in this career, in life, you can't let anyone sway who you are."
