chapter two
Two moths
Location: Kingslanding

After walking all the way on other side of the keep fidgeting with her new necklace and letting Clementine slitter on her hair, she finally reached Helaena's chambers.

The first person she saw was Ser Criston Cole who scowled upon noticing her, which she ignored, and let him open the door for her.

"Princess Aemma is here, your grace" Crispin- Criston Cole said getting the mother and daughters attention.

Inside we're Helaena and Alicent talking amongst themselves. She noticed the boredom in Alicent's face as Helaena was talking about her insect before both turned to her.

"Your grace" Aemma said politely bowing her head to the Queen. She doesn't like the Queen Alicent due to her hatred towards her and her family. She doesn't know why she does, she doesn't talk to her unless needed to, does the Queen hates her because she spends time with her daughter? Or is it because of her name? Her mother?

"Princess" Alicent looked the girl from head to toe noticing the small snake now resting on her neck. Alicent herself wanted to refused her husband command the let Aemma and Helaena spend time as they are both girls.

She doesn't want her only daughter to interact with Rhaenyra's bast– dark eyed daughter.

But yet she didn't.. because she noticed the common things both young girls share, sometimes their friendship reminds her of hers and Rhaenyra's before she married her father staining their friendship forever.

"Aemma come" Helaena said softly to Aemma asking her to come sit next to her which Aemma did trying to hide her excitement due to the green queen being there, observing them.

"Is that a centipede?" Aemma looked curiously at the insect crawling in her aunts hands "it's a millipede" Helaena corrected.

Aemma nodded at Helaena's correction "what's a millipede?" She asked only knowing centipedes because of the books of insects she read only to understand more of Helaena's creatures but she never truly finished that book because she had other lessons to attend.

"They like centipedes only centipedes have one pair of legs per body segment, while millipedes have two pairs."

"Ah" Aemma said in awe wondering what's up with that.
