"Lina, Lina wake up We're gonna be late to school!" I opened my eyes and Javon was above me, shaking me to get up.

"Just five more minutes" I groaned and he walked towards the curtains and swung them open as I covered my face with the blanket.

"Ma, school starts in 15 minutes and I can't get a detention today I've got training later," he said sternly but calm and I knew he was serious.

"ok, ok I'm up"

Time skip

It was break and I headed over to meet Delilah at our spot.

"Boo!" before she turned around I saw her wipe her eyes 

"Hey," she said when I sat next to her. Looking into her eyes they were really red

"Are you ok?"

"Yeah I'm good"

"Sure, was it Tyler"

"what do you mean?"

"you know what I mean D I can tell you've been crying"

"is it that obvious"

"Very"

"fuck, some teachers gonna think I came to school drunk" I laughed a little 

"but seriously what happened"

"Me and Tyler had an argument"

"Seriously, what did he do "

"no, it wasn't his fault" 

"so what happened then"

"you know yesterday when we played that drinking game?"

"Yeah"

"and how Javon asked if anyone had stolen anything in the past week"

"oh yeah when Tyler nearly took a sip"

"yeah I confronted him about it because I knew he had done it before and he had promised not to do it anymore when we got together"

"oh, maybe he had a reason"

"he does his mum was sick and he already spent the money that was meant for the medicine"

"Why wouldn't he just ask you for some"

"exactly that's why I got mad, I don't understand why he didn't just come to me"

"He was probably embarrassed"

"I know I feel like he doesn't trust me, but I'm going to speak to him after school and sort it out"

"ok don't forget to tell me how it goes"

"I won't," she said while we got up 

"ok see u later"

"see you"

I have maths next so at least I'll see Javon. When I got to class Javon wasn't there, but there were still a few minutes of break left I put my airpods in and listened to music while scrolling on Shein. 

I felt someone take my AirPods out and whisper "Hello, ma" It set shivers down my spine. I quickly turned around. 

"Are you crazy Javon, someone gonna hear you" I said and he laughed, Ruby walked passed at that exact moment and I knew she had heard me.

 "Sorry" Then he came close to my ear again and whispered "Ma"

I looked up into his glowing eyes i just couldn't look at him seriously and smiled, then he sat down and I whispered "I'm serious Javon do you want someone to start a rumour?"
