 Javon's POV

We got back to the wooden platform I attached the jet to the anchor while Lina got changed into her dress.

We walked along the lake heading back to the party. "Javon" Lina said while putting her arm around my waist and I put my arm on her shoulder, the butterflies this girl gives me.

"yeah?"

"you know when we were playing that drinking game" fuck she better not ask what I think shes going to

"mmhh" I hummed as an answer

"and D asked if anyone lied to anyone there" shit

"why I took a sip?"

"Yeah" she responded

"I lied to Delilah"

"what, when!?"

"When she was interesgating me"

"What did she ask that made you lie" she said looking up into my eyes

"I can't remember," I say looking down at her and smiling, teasing her

"come onnnn I know you remember" She's so cute when she gets annoyed

"I can't remember," I say while laughing a bit making it even more

"come one Javon I won't get mad, pleasee" her green eyes gazing into mine

"ok, ok Delilah asked me if I like you" Hearing those words she looked up at me grinning, "I said maybe she said it's a yes or no question"

"her and her yes or no questions" Lina added making us laugh

"I said... yes and said that I think we're going too quick, but really I don't think we are I don't know how but I just don't feel like it" to those words we stopped walking and she looked up and I met with her beautiful green eyes then she unexpectedly grabbed me for a big hug she put her head on my upper chest and I put one of my hands around her waist and the other her neck and gently stroked the back of her neck, then she pulled away.

"D's gonna be so fucking mad at me"

"what why!? does she not want us to be together... I don't mean together like together together I mean like hanging out and stu-" I couldn't finish my sentence Lina had slammed her lips into mine, and just like that, every thought disappeared. All I could focus on was the heat of her kiss and the way it made everything else fade away. But it had to end, we stood there staring into each other eyes

"I didn't expect that, but I liked it." I say smiling

Lina's eyes lit up, and without saying a word, she leaned in and kissed me again. It was a soft, lingering kiss that made everything else seem to disappear. When we finally pulled back, I couldn't help but grin.

"Why do you think Delilah would be mad at you?" I asked, genuinely curious.

Lina's expression turned thoughtful. "Delilah doesn't want what happened with Mark to happen with you."

I tilted my head, trying to understand. "What do you mean?"

"Well," Lina said, "when I was with Mark, things seemed okay at first, but then it all went wrong. Delilah was there through it all she's just worried that if things with us don't go well, it might end up like that."
