Madison
Once I unlocked the door to the honeymoon suite, I entered and glanced around at the room. Flowers, candies, and other romantic items filled it. Why? Why does life hate me so much?
The door clicked shut behind me as Issac stood beside me and released a low whistle. "I wasn't expecting all this. I figured it was like other hotel rooms."
I glanced at Issac and shook my head. "No, the honeymoon suite is for the bride and groom to present that romantic night as husband and wife. Too bad the hotel wasted it on us." I grabbed my bag, carried it to a suitcase holder, and set it down.
Issac set his bag on a chair before diving into the bed and bouncing around like a kid in a bounce house. "Well, the bed is comfy, which is a plus."
I looked at Issac and folded my arms. "We need ground rules for bedtime."
"What ground rules? It's a big bed." Issace shrugged.
"I'm not sleeping in the same bed with you."
"Why not? It's not like we didn't share a bed recently."
"It's inappropriate. What would Lily say?"
"Lily wouldn't care." Issac waved me off. "She would want to ensure I got plenty of rest."
"Issac!"
Issac scooted off the bed and approached me. "Relax, Madison. We're responsible adults who can share a bed without jumping each other." He smirked.
My head was ready to explode. I grabbed my toiletry bag and headed to the bathroom to take ibuprofen for the headache that was starting.

IssacMadison grabbed her toiletry bag and headed to the bathroom in a huff. I don't remember her being this uptight when we dated. If I remember correctly, Madison couldn't wait to rip off my clothes when we were alone. Ah, the good old days. I needed to work on Madison loosening up.
I'll have to thank my employees later for the nice touches, such as the flowers, balloons, and candy. They added to the romantic aspect of the stay.
The bathroom door opened, and Madison emerged, a little calmer. "We have a meeting with the first place in thirty minutes. We should head out."
"Whatever you think is best." I smiled.
"I think that's best." Madison nodded before grabbing her planner and purse.
I followed her out of the room and down to the lobby before leaving the hotel and heading to the car. We climbed in and headed to the first place. When we arrived, we met with the manager. Madison explained everything to the manager. She impressed me with her professionalism while trying not to throttle me when I vetoed their ideas.
The manager started becoming frustrated and called me Groomzilla under her breath. It's not my fault the manager didn't listen. I need to elevate the frustration slightly.

MadisonAfter explaining to the manager what Issac and Lily wanted, she made suggestions that Issac vetoed. I tried to smooth over the issues, but Issac became increasingly difficult with every idea suggested. My left eye started twitching while I tried to remain professional.
Finally, I excused Issac and myself so I could speak to Issac alone. The manager was more than happy to take a break and left to check on the staff.
I pulled Issac aside. "Issac, what are you doing?"
"I don't know what you mean," Issac said with an innocent shrug.
