Prologue:
[Venureon] (100 years into the future)
"A Slave forever, but not in Heart, in Life, and in Mind,"
The father uttered solemnly to his daughter. She, with innocence in her eyes, asked, "Are we going to be slaves forever?" Their journey unfolded in the rickety carriage, navigating a dirt road en route to a noble's mansion. The vast expanse of trees provided a comforting shade, shielding them from the harsh sun.
A family of slaves comprised the group-parents in their mid-30s, a robust 10-year-old son, and a blind 7-year-old daughter. The rhythmic rocking of the carriage and the gentle swaying with each turn allowed their minds to wander, envisioning the life that awaited them under their probable new master. However, their reverie was abruptly shattered by a menacing tone that cut through the air-a slave trader instructing his merchandise to prepare.
Slave Trader: "We are near our destination; prepare yourselves. Do not tarnish my reputation, or you will regret it."
Without hesitation, the family responded in unison.
Family: "Yes, Master!"
The family hastily readied their belongings and adjusted their appearances, aiming to present themselves as valuable commodities. After a few minutes, the dense foliage gave way, revealing a breathtaking mountainous landscape with a magnificent mansion perched atop, proudly displaying its grandeur for all to behold.
Then, the slave trader revealed to the family loudly who is going to be their master.
Slave Trader: "Be ready to meet the King of Slaves!"
Part 1: The Curse
[Holoids Soul Transport Control Room] (18 years ago)
The air in the control room vibrated with an unexpected shriek, disrupting the usual celestial calm.
Holoid 1: "EEEhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!"
A panicking voice echoed through the celestial chamber as Holoid 1 grappled with the repercussions of a grave error.
Holoid 1: "What should I do?! I am going to be punished for this big time!"
"Do we tell it to Him?"
Amid the chaos, the Holoids exchanged tense glances, uncertain of the next course of action.
Holoid 2: "No need to inform Him; I believe He's already aware."
A premonition unfolded, revealing two ethereal figures engaged in conversation, their expressions a tableau of confusion.
To the left stood a tearful figure, weeping silently as tears streamed down her cheeks. In stark contrast, her companion on the right emanated an aura of serene composure, akin to a tranquil ocean.
The celestial beings strained to comprehend a soft, resonating word that emanated from the subject of their gaze.
"Beautiful."
Indeed, the countenances before them radiated celestial beauty-features befitting denizens of heaven. Their skin, as white as newly fallen snow, adorned with wings of immaculate feathers, gleamed like silk. A halo above their heads, emitting a radiant brilliance akin to the sun.
Humans clad in simple yet elegant garments with metallic embellishments concealing their celestial forms, the Holoids wore golden bracelets forming a spiral spring. Identical ornaments adorned their legs, extending from just above the foot to just below the knee.
Barefoot, their ethereal feet made contact with a cloud-like floor, solid yet with an intangible quality that suggested the potential for descent. A misty veil enveloped the floor, seamlessly merging with the celestial clouds that formed the chamber's walls. Floating screens like transparent glass displayed cryptic messages.
