Zara's POV:

The morning after our beach day, I was in the kitchen preparing breakfast with Marco for the others.

"Zara! Why yuh deh so far from eh pot?" Marco shouted.

"Eh oil a splash up pon mi!" I shouted back.

In my defense, hot oil is no joke. It burns.

"Give mi mek mi dweet." Marco took the bacon from me and took over.

"With pleasure," I replied.

"Oh, Zara, tell dem breakfast ready so dem fi come down," Marco instructed.

"Alex, Sky, and Ashley! Breakfast is ready!" I called out from downstairs.

I went back to Marco and began setting the plates on the table. We made eggs, bacon, and waffles, accompanied by freshly squeezed orange juice.

By the time I was finished setting the table, they were already coming downstairs. Everyone took their seats and began to eat.

"Bclt Marco yuh put yuh foot inna dis man," Ashley said.

"Zara helped as well," Marco laughed.

"Big up you gyalie," Ashley said.

"Why, thank you," I laughed.

"So guys, weh eh plan fi today be?" Sky asked.

"Mi and Zara ago pon a date. Mi nuh know bout unuh."

"Date?" I asked.

"Yes. A date," Alex said firmly.

"Oh, okay," I said.

"Our reservations is at 8 p.m., so be ready by then," Alex said, making eye contact.

"Hmm," I murmured.

"So wah bout me? Me cyaa go pon date too?" Ashley asked, looking at Sky.

"Someplace romantic," Ashley said.

"Aiite," Sky agreed.

"So unuh really ago leff mi alone deh yah again?" Marco asked.

Jah know, Marco needs a woman desperately. We can't keep doing him like this. Lol.

"Jah know dawg, if ruff pon yuh," Alex laughed.

"This shit nuh funny nuh more, it nuh funny dawg," Marco said.

"Who am I to judge? Mi did deh inna yuh shoes wah taller time," Sky laughed.

"Mi establish now. Life govern," Sky and Alex laughed.

"Fuck off Sky," Marco said.

"So Marco, why yuh nuh call up one a yuh katty dem inna yuh contacts?" I asked.

"Mi tiiad a dem now. Mi wah see new face," Marco said.

All of us burst into laughter, including Marco.

"Wah bout yuh sister?" Sky said, turning to me.
