This takes place after episode 28 of season 5, after Travis asked Katelyn on a date.
Travis had finally done it, he gained enough confidence to ask Katelyn out and today was the day. Travis had spent all day thinking about the best place to take her, however it was hard sine they had done so much. They had gone rock climbing, done couples pottery and gone to the beach. That's when it hit him, Katelyn and him hadn't gone on a romantic dinner in a while, actually the last time was on Love~Love Paradise. He asked his dad what the nicest restaurant was in town and went on from there.
"Heyyy Katelyn, so I have a date idea.." Travis said flirtatiously.
"Anddd that is?" Katelyn said smirking.
"Dinner!! Travis said excitedly.
Katelyn let out a small giggle, "I'm down, what's there not to love about food haha!"
"It is a fancier place, I wanted it to be more romantic, so there is a dress code, if you don't want to it's fine I-" Katelyn interrupted
"it's perfect Travis, thank you." Katelyn said smiling at him.
Travis smiled back at her, all he wanted to do was kiss the woman he's loved for so long but he needed to wait for the perfect time.
*Time skip*
Travis got ready a little earlier since he knows Katelyn was going to take a while doing her makeup and hair, he sat on the couch and anxiously waited for Katelyn to be ready. Katelyn on the other hand was extremely nervous, she hasn't been on a date in a long time, she really cares for Travis and didn't want to mess things up between them again. She wanted everything to be perfect, and she wanted to look good for him even if it meant she was going to feel out of her comfort zone. Skirts and dresses aren't really her thing, she'd rather be shorts or jeans.

It was a little short but still comfortable enough for her to wear, she brought it with Aphmau after Travis had first asked her out. Katelyn finished her hair and her makeup and walked downstairs. Travis looked up at her in awe, she looked beautiful.
Katelyn blushing replied, "Th-Thanks Travis, you ready to go?
"So ready baby." Travis grabbed her hand and they went to the restaurant.
They ate a lot of food, and discussed how they felt about each other. They talked about what they hoped to be in the future, and to respect each other's boundaries this time to ensure they would work out. The last thing Travis wanted was to be heartbroken again. The last thing Katelyn wanted was for them not to work out and be forced to move on, knowing she would probably never love or trust someone again. After dinner, they stopped at an ice cream shop and had desert. They walked hand in hand along the beach just talking about life and their future together. Travis wasn't even upset they didn't kiss, he respected that she was probably too nervous, just being able to be so open with her again is all that mattered to him. They got back to the resort house, Travis helped Katelyn undress. It was quite romantic but Katelyn wasn't ready for that yet. He left and gave her the privacy she deserved while he got ready for bed in the bathroom. Travis knocked on the door and entered the room. Katelyn was sitting at the vanity taking off her make up, Travis sitting there just mesmerizing her, she was so beautiful with and without make up. (IK HER FACE CARD NEVER DECLINESSS) Katelyn looked at him and he looked away, she giggled and blushed noticing how he had been staring at her. Travis got comfortable and kept their separation pillows between them in case she wasn't ready to cuddle and stuff, even though they had been sleeping gin the same bed for months they had a wall of pillows between them. Katelyn thought to herself while taking off her makeup wondering why he hadn't kissed her, maybe he was nervous? Travis looked like he was getting pretty comfterble, so she finished her skincare quickly. She got into bed, and said fuck it, she grabbed the pillows from between them and put them on the floor. Travis was quite excited but he kept his composure.
"Sorry, I'll put them back if u want I just think they take up too much space." Katelyn said sarcastically.
"No, no it's perfect, you know I don't mind baby." Travis said.
Katelyn laid next to him, they faced each other.
"Goodnight Travis." Katelyn yawned.
"Night baby." Travis said
Katelyn sat there for a second, she sort of pouted and Travis chuckled at her.
"What's wrong?" Travis questioned her.
"Oh nothing, just I said gooooodnightt." Katelyn stated in a sarcastic manner.
Travis looked at her questioning what she expected him to do next. Then it hit him she was talking about a good night kiss.
"Hmmm, I see now. That's my bad." Travis said.
Travis looked at Katelyn's lips, up to her eyes, and back down to her lips. He grabbed her chin and brought her face closer to him. He kissed her. It lasted a few seconds and was quite passionate, this helped alleviate the tension between.
"Goodnight baby." Travis said smiling, then he kissed her forehead and pulled her close.
Katelyn was blushing and smiling to herself, she was happy they were able to get that out of their way. It had been so long since they kissed because they agreed to just be friends. This kiss felt right, it gave her butterflies and she was able to sleep peacefully. They cuddled for the rest of the night, they both realized that this was just the beginning of something truly special.
