After the Prisonbreak. We were now stuck in the deadbone mountains. Terrains were rugged, dead trees were everywhere. And barely even standing stalagmites that can impale us from above at anytime.
We then continued to roam around, gathering supplies and resources we could find. We also encountered some mobs, but we dealt with it with ease. We decided to set up camp in a small chokepoint between two mountains, setting up a makeshift grass tent.
Suddenly, Multiple Empyrean bounty hunters showed up, flintlocks in their hands.
” Give us directions to the Witherstone. ” The captain of the squad said, holding his flintlock pistol directly at me.
” Uhh, No sir! I don't really know... Where it is. ”
The Empyrean captain held his flintlock pistol tightly, spinning it around and launching multiple warning shots at me.
I startled in surprise, now standing up and preparing my sword. Evian also seemingly began to get mad.
” AY! WE DON'T HAVE DIRECTIONS TO THAT STUPID TREASURE, AND I HOPE YOU DIE DURING THAT! ”
The Empyrean captain seemingly became more enraged. He grits his teeth, his eyes fuming with rage. We already knew that Evian messed with the wrong person, and we're gonna pay for it.
” Evian..! Seriously. ”
I gave a disappointed and seemingly worried look at Evian.
Evian just scoffs and then says.
” Not my problem these Empyrean Bastards don't know how to hear words. ”
The Empyrean captain seemed more infuriated, and his squad mates are more mad too. Suddenly, Gunshots can be heard as small clouds of dust unravel, as we'd quickly run for our lives as I dragged Noah.
” GOD DAMN IT EVIAN! CAN YOU KEEP YOUR YAPPERING MOUTH SHUT! ”
Evian scoffed and gave an annoying look at her face.
” Ugh! Why is speaking my thoughts not allowed in this judgemental world?! ”
We continued to run, gasps for air continued. And we got inside a ravine, falling and plunging ourselves in accidentally
We screamed in unison, but the Empyreans are still on us.
Suddenly, Evian suddenly gets a grappling hook from her tool box, pulls me and Noah and then backflips gracefully whilst shooting down the falling Empyreans.
Evian scoffs and then smiles at me.
” Now who do you thank now..? ”
She gave out a feisty smirk and chuckles as we were barely standing and the only thing holding us was a grappling hook.
Me and Noah groaned in unison, before we got back down safely, the sounds of feet crunching on the stone grounds echoed through the seemingly silent ravine.
We finally found a map of the Deadbone Mountains, and just about as we were gonna sigh of relief, A sneaky goblin snatched it and ran away. Great.
Evian now scowled before growling at the Goblin, She then shouted angrily whilst running.
” AY! GET BACK 'ERE MIDGET! ”
Me and Evian ran for the Goblin, but it's swift, tiny little legs got the best of us. Evian continued to shoot her arcane pistols whilst running, attempting to kill the goblin and grab the map.
” Aw dang it! ”
I say in exhaustion. I'd gasp for air, beads of sweat passed through me like water drops as I gasp for air.
Suddenly, We encounter a shady, gigantic wooden door. Curious, Evian would open the door. Kicking it down, to reveal some undead knights guarding it. They weren't so happy.
