It has been the 10th year ever since Y/n met her childhood best friend, she was blasting music in her headphones, walking down the street when she passed by a familiar playground, she remembered it was the playground that Suna and her used to go to.

She sat on the rusty swing of the empty playground as the wind blew across her face. It felt nostalgic, but then she remembered that they became enemies due to a fight.

Unfortunately, she couldn't recall what the fight was about. Suna and Y/n parted ways and ended the friendship. Little did she know, she would meet him again..

"Honey there's a new neighbour just moved in beside us, we should go greet them!" Y/n's mother shouted. At that time when her mother called out to her, she was upstairs, sleeping with her headphones on. But she wasn't deep asleep, she just didn't feel like going anywhere. she just wanna rot in her room in peace. "Honey? Let's go greet the new neighbours" her mother knocked on her room door.

Soon, she finally gave in for the sake of her mother. "Fine, just 30 minutes then i'm walking back." she rolled her eyes, leaving her headphones on her shoulder.

Y/n walked to the next door neighbour's house with her family and they insisted on giving them a basket of fruits with a warm greeting letter. "Welcome to the neighborhood, we're so glad to have you here" Y/n's father greeted.

He nudged her shoulder as a sign to greet them too. "Welcome." she spoke in a deep lazy tone while looking at her phone.

Just when she lifted her head up, her eyes widened in shock. She saw a familiar-looking man with dark black messy hair,foxed-like eyes and a black mask. Her mind instantly clicked, it was Suna.

"S-Suna?" she stuttered. "Y/n?" Suna spoke, looking down at her. "You remember me?" she asked. "Wait honey, you know our neighbour's son? Since when? Who is he?" Y/n's mother spoke in a slightly concerned tone.

"H-He..W-Well this is Suna. He used to be my childhood best friend, remember Mom?" She stated, trying to clear things up.

Your mother then greeted him with a warm smile and just nodded. "You both can head into your room, since you said you wanted to rot in ur room, right? You guys can catch up a little in ur room." her mother insisted.

"No! I mean- We have nothing to catch up on..I'm gonna go back to the house now." She spoke, walking away in a slow pace. "No hun, you are going to talk to Suna in ur room, it's an order." her mother spoke firmly. "Fine." she walked away, signalling Suna to follow.

------

Suna and Y/n entered her room.

Her room was filled with volleyball posters all over on one side and the other side was a digital clock,a hanging book rack with books and a bed with black blanket, and a Macbook laying on the bed.
