All nine heroes fixed their gaze on Darkseid, each adopting a distinct stance, poised for the tyrant's first move.

Green Lantern walked forward before the group. "Stand back and peep the light show. Green Lantern's got this." Lantern said confidently. His power ring glowed brightly and constructed into a giant fist with spiked brass knuckles around its hand. He flew forward at Darkseid and punched the tyrant's face with his construct, Darkseid immediately retaliated with a punch of his own, sending Lantern going through a tree and crashing into a wall before falling face first on the ground. Two parademons took this chance and flew in and started giving him a beat down.

The other heroes stood by until Flash dashed forward, landing a flurry of punches on the two parademons. Seeing this, the remaining parademons interpreted it as a signal to attack, but the heroes began to effortlessly defeat them, each in their unique manner.

Lantern rose to his feet, eyeing Darkseid defiantly. "Is that all you've got? Because it's not all I've got." With renewed vigor, he charged forward; his ring materialized a train, aiming to strike the new god. However, the construct shattered upon impact with the new god, sending the space cop sprawling.

Having had enough, Darkseid turned his head to Green Lantern and was about to fire his omega beams if it were not for Superman flying in and punching him twice before grabbing the Kryptonain and launching him back to where the group was fighting incoming parademons.

"I'm not through with you." Lantern said before flying in again, this constructing a hammer and hitting the backside of Darkseid's head. The tyrant immediately turned around and grabbed Lanterns forearm and crushed it with ease, he then threw Lantern near where Gogeta was ki spamming the parademons.

Y/N turned to look at the downed Lantern, a parademon tried to attack the seemingly distracted Y/N but was kicked down by Hawkgirl who seconds later jumped up and flew towards Darkseid. Kendra got in a few hits in with her spiked mace but was punched away by Darkseid but was caught by her husband who had put her on the ground safely before zooming away to fight off more parademons.

Shazam landed next to Kendra, he pointed at Y/N and asked her, "Is that you boyfriend?"

Kendra just gave a side-eye and replied, "No, he's my-"

Not letting her finish, Shazam said, "Cool. Watch this." He said as he flew and levitated somewhat near Darkseid. "Hey, black-heart the Death-eater, or whatever your World of Warcraft name is, suck on this!" He clasped his hands together, unleashing a bolt of magical lightning towards the tyrant's chest. Yet, Darkseid remained unmoved, absorbing the strike without a flinch. In retaliation, he charged and unleashed his omega beams at Shazam, repelling the lightning assault and hurling him backward, where he crashed into the ground.

"Now what?" Victor said.

Darkseid floated down near the heroes with his arms glowing red. "Now you die." He raised his glowing red arms above his head, which started to glow even brighter.

"Wait, no!" Flash said, but Darkseid had slammed his arms into the ground, creating a shockwave, taking out anything within its range of destruction.

The smoke cleared to revealed Flash, Superman and Gogeta to still be standing, everything within the area was destroyed and the rest of the heroes were nowhere to be seen. Darkseid looked up at the three remaining heroes, his eyes glowing red.
