Soon enough, the Mystery Inc. gang, along with Braedey and Willow, with Ben Ravencroft, had arrived in the North of the USA, and were now leaving the bustling cities behind, heading off into the British countryside.

It was going to be a bit of a long drive for them, but they didn't mind this. Braedey was taking the time to rest up, and Willow also took the time to catch some Z's. Shaggy and Scooby were enjoying their snacks, Daphne reading up on the sights to Fred, who was driving as per usual, whilst Ben was up ahead of the van, with Velma in his car, a black Rolls-Royce of the 40's.

As they drove along into the town, Ben was surprised to see so many cars and people. This has never happened before in his hometown, so it's a surprise for him.

Soon, they parked up in the lot for something called 'The Oakhaven Festival'. Once the van stopped, Braedey and Willow woke up. Scooby gently patted their cheeks to wake them up, and they stumbled out of the van to see what's going on.

Ben looked around his hometown; it sure had changed a lot, but in a crazier way than he expected. It wasn't the quiet little town he grew up in. There were crowds all around the place, photographers and tourists, some of them from abroad or even from other towns nearby.

Velma looked around in confusion. "I thought you said this was a quiet little town."

"It was." Ben agreed with Velma.

"This is a pretty popular spot." Fred remarked to Ben as he got out of the van with the others.

"Do many people come here often?" Daphne asked.

"Sure, we always get a few leaf peepers but never like this. This is a 'circus'." Ben now sounded slightly insulted.

"We should go see the mayor then, maybe he might know what's going on." Willow suggested.

"Good point, there he is now." Ben looked ahead to see a portly man greeting people to the town and smiling to them.

"Like, maybe he'll know a place to eat." Shaggy smiled hungrily.

"Reah!" Scooby agreed.

"With him being the mayor, the possibility is a 100% yes." Braedey said.

The Mayor was welcoming new guests. "Welcome to old Oakhaven. Have a wonderful time. So glad you can come."

"Mayor Corey!" Ben called out to the portly man.

The mayor looked with a smile to the author. "Ben, my boy! I'm glad you could come home to see this," He then noticed the rest of the group. "Oh, you brought friends, and their dog." Mayor Corey smiled.

"Rog?" Scooby looked around. "Rhere?"

The Mayor laughed. "Welcome! The more, the merrier."

"Um, Mr. Mayor, it isn't usually this crowded, is it?" Braedey asked.
