It was hard living a normal life. A life where everyone knew she was a victim. No- a survivor. Emilia wanted to know why her daddy was mean. No one had an answer for her. Emilia was also enrolled in therapy now. So was Mariana. Hotch recommended the Bureau's therapist. It was helping her cope.

Spencer had played a big part in helping out too. He often came over to entertain Emilia. She loved him. He was like a superhero to her.

The other day she told her that Spencer was the daddy she always wanted.

"Bye-bye Spencer!" Emilia exclaimed. Spencer said his goodbyes and left the house. Mariana sat next to Emilia on the couch, turning on their favorite- 'The Lion King'.

"Did you have fun with Spencer today?" Mariana asked Emilia. The young girl cuddled into her mother's chest. "Mhm." "I'm glad." "He's like the daddy I always wanted. My real daddy never played dress-up with me. But, Spencer does!" Emilia said.

Mariana felt her slight feelings for Dr. Spencer Reid grow just a bit more at her daughter's words.

"Good morning!" She exclaims, setting her go-bag and coffee down. "How's my little miss doing?" Morgan asks her. "She's doing great actually. Scooby-Doo has been on repeat for the past week." Mariana giggled. "And how are you?" He asks. Her smile fades slightly. "It's hard, Morgan. Some days, I am so happy to be free and live a normal life. And others, I'm sitting in my bed sobbing because I don't know how to live a normal life anymore. I feel like I still need validation for my outfits and I feel like I should be hit for the times I leave the house without permission." Mariana explains.

They were the only two in the bullpen right now. The tension was rising at her outburst.

"Pretty girl, you have done nothing wrong. Adjusting to a new life after six years is gonna be rough. But don't forget that you have me, and the team. You gotta keep strong for little Emy." Morgan says. Mariana could feel the tears forming in her eyes. "The day we arrested him Spencer asked me why I lied. I asked him if he knew the fear I felt. I feel like nobody knows what I'm going through." Mariana rambled.

Morgan sighs. "Nobody here knows at all what your going through. But you gotta let us help. Yes, you let Reid come over to play with Emy and you bring Emy to play in Garcias office. But what have you done for you?" "I started going to therapy." Mariana mumbles. "That's a start. Now, you are with the team everyday. We can tell there's something going on." "I told you what's going on, Morgan. I don't know how else to explain it."
