Next morning, both Wei Ying and Wang Ji were in the office. Wei Ying was working when Huaisang approached him and said, "Brother Wei, do you know that someone is coming to our office today? I've heard she's very beautiful and the owner of a big company. She's coming to collaborate with us."

"So what should I do, Huaisang?" Wei Ying asked, confused.

"Who is the CEO of this company?" Huaisang asked.

"Wang Ji."

"Exactly! If Wang Ji likes that girl, then..."

"No, that won't happen. He doesn't even look at anyone else."

"Brother, how do you know that? Anyway, I just had to inform you."

"Yes, right. By the way, what's her name?"

"Whose name?" Huaisang asked, pretending to be innocent.

"Huaisang, please don't tease me."

"Alright, alright, I'll tell you." Just as Huaisang was about to tell him, Mr. Xiao arrived.

"Mr. Nie, I think you should stop wasting time and get back to work," Mr. Xiao said.

"Yes, sir," Huaisang replied.

"Hm, quickly," Mr. Xiao said before leaving.

Wei Ying said, "Mr. Xiao only scolds you. Does he like you? Because he doesn't like talking to anyone else."

Huaisang's face turned completely red, and he said, "Stop talking nonsense, brother. He will never like me."

"Come on, Huaisang, just think about it. You and Mr. Xiao, just the two of you."

"Shut up, bro. What nonsense are you talking about?" Huaisang said, blushing before running away.

Wei Ying was laughing when he suddenly received a message from Wang Ji and remembered what Huaisang had said.

Wei Ying was furious and stormed straight into Wang Ji's office without knocking. He sat down, glaring intensely. Wang Ji was taken aback, seeing the anger in Wei Ying's eyes, and knew this was serious.

Nervously, Wang Ji asked, "Wei Ying, what happened?"

"What happened? My life is ruined!" Wei Ying replied angrily.

"Why are you saying that, Wei Ying? I have an important meeting today. How do I look?" Wang Ji tried to steer the conversation to a lighter note.

"Oh, you care about how you look for her, but you never ask that for me!" Wei Ying’s anger flared even more at Wang Ji’s attempt to change the subject.

"I was just asking because of the meeting. Who are you talking about?" Wang Ji asked, genuinely confused.

"That girl you're meeting today!"

"Oh, that. Wei Ying, I’ve never even seen her. I’ve only heard her company  name . The company is run by two siblings who keep a low profile."

"So what? You must be excited to meet her," Wei Ying accused.

"Enough, Wei Ying!" Wang Ji’s patience snapped. "Why are you being like this?"

Hearing Wang Ji’s raised voice, Wei Ying started to cry. "You don't love me. You're lying."

Wang Ji immediately felt guilty. He shouldn't have let his frustration show (though he didn’t realize this was all part of Wei Ying’s dramatics😂😂).

Wang Ji softened, moving closer to Wei Ying. "Wei Ying, babe, I'm sorry. I lost my temper. I won't get angry at you anymore."

Wei Ying continued to sob, but the corners of his mouth hinted at a smile. Wang Ji’s sincere apology and concern always managed to break through his playful antics. He leaned into Wang Ji, feeling a sense of comfort and satisfaction that his little act had brought out Wang Ji's caring side. Wang Ji, meanwhile, vowed to be more patient and understanding, no matter what drama Wei ying threw his way.
