Tuesday.

They've done this so many times before, he's used to it by now. He's used to sitting at a booth far away from a cctv camera, secluded and at the corner. He's used to seeing Gemini's hand reach inside his pocket. He's used to the stare that the waitresses give them whenever they do this.

No, Gemini isn't pulling out a gun. No, they aren't doing some shady crime at the corner of this expensive restaurant.

He waits for Gemini to get on one knee and then let's the waterworks fall, he whimpers and wipes his cheek aggressively. That tear stick sure was efficient.

"I've loved you, fourth, for so so long. I've known you were the one for me ever since you befriended me during recess when we were kids." Gemini says, and opens the box. Fourth is always surprised at how well and convincing Gem does it, the stammer in his voice showing his nervousness, the quiver in his hand showing his excitement, and his eyes... showing some emotion he hasn't deciphered yet.

"So would you do me an honor, and marry me, my love?"

"YES!!" Fourth screams through tears and hugs Gemini, allowing the boy to lift him up and spin him around messily, "Of course I will, Gem!"

From the corner of his eye, he sees the waitress lift her jaw up from the floor and approach them, genuinely excited.

"Congratulations on your engagement!!" She says, "your food today is on us." Fourth almost feels bad.

They both thank her profusely, bowing just enough number of times to not make her suspicious, and once she walks away, they fist bump each other discreetly.

"We're so good at this, we should get ourselves a career in acting." Fourth whispers to Gemini with a cocky grin on his face.

"Maybe in another universe." Gemini says, a matching grin on his own lips.
