TUESDAY5:30 am
The first night passed quickly, though not pleasantly. A weird sensation coming from my chest killed any hope of resting. I blamed my restlessness to the foreign environment. I never seemed to relax in unfamiliar places, at least until I made sure it was safe. A little habit I picked up from that wretched house. Nowhere was safe there, always expecting the prospect of someone barging into what they had claimed was a room, dragging my tired body to 'train more because I lacked'.
I didn't know what to expect here, though I knew something like that memory of the past wouldn't happen, the trauma it brought was too deeply rooted within me that my body and mind refused the bliss sleep's tender embrace brought. I hated how broken I was in most parts of my inner self. I might be the strongest on the outside but internally I was the weakest girl on the world.
After all no one cared to train me in that aspect of myself.
Without another thought, when the sky started changing colours slowly, from black to dark blue, I left the confines of my room. With my twin fans secured to my belt, I headed towards one of the outdoor training areas, fancying witnessing the sunrise while I trained my skills.
I had a plan in mind, one that will confuse my rivals when they face me on Saturday, the day of the first part of the event. It will give me the very pleasing advantage of taking them by surprise, but I knew it would probably give me a lot of disadvantages too, though not ones I couldn't handle.
Reaching the area in mind, I watched the diminishing light of the moon as the sun slowly started gracing the skies once more. A light breeze rustled the leaves of the surrounding trees, touching my bare skin and swaying my hair as it passed through me. The coldness of the early morning sent chills throughout my body, effectively ridding me of any symptoms of tiredness. I loved this peaceful time of the morning, where most of the world was still deep within sleep's clutches, even nature itself.
