The Ravenclaw Fourth Years burst from the carriage all at once and sprinted to the castle under Cho's umbrella charm, screeching and giggling like this was their last day on Earth. Everything was lifting Cassie's foul mood, from the way her bright pink Converse tapped against the cobble pavement or the droplets of rain trickling down the umbrella and onto her arm.

The girls moved as one unit, their shoulders and backs pressed into one another as Marietta and Cassie loudly sang "It's Raining, It's Pouring" while Cho laughed maniacally, and Kelsey went red in embarrassment.

People rolled their eyes or laughed when they passed, used to their behavior by now.

The Gryffindor Fifth years were right in front of the hurrying girls and were moving entirely too slowly. Kelsey had no time to wait before her hair poofed up, so there was no other choice than for Marietta to use her beater skills for good use and side-check one of the Weasleys so roughly that he went flying into his other twin.

"Sorry!" Cho called over her shoulder with bright red cheeks, but the group kept going.

"Ughh," Fred said with a shiver, brushing his left arm off as if he was infected just from Marietta's touch. "They get more annoying each year."

George, however, was thinking the exact opposite about one of the Ravenclaw girls in particular, watching the girl with a thick black ponytail run away, holding her blonde friend's hand so she wouldn't be left behind.

George had been infatuated with Cassie Black ever since she knocked him off his broom in her second year, breaking his arm and allowing Ravenclaw to win the game. He had been doing everything he could to spend as much time as possible around her and keep every other boy besides his twin away since.

He had thought a lot about her this summer, especially with her father escaping Azkaban. He had woken up several nights in a cold sweat, thinking that the crazed man had hurt his daughter in some way, and only Fred could calm him down.

He watched the girls black hair bounce and her small feet splash through the puddles, her high-pitched, cackle-like laughter floating through the air. Fred said it was annoying, but George had always loved her manic-sounding laugh, and how it would make her voice go raspy when she did it too often. He was glad to be back at Hogwarts for more than the usual reasons, now he could make sure Cassie Black stayed safe, and that her voice was always raspy.

"GEORGE!" Fred shouted, breaking his twin out of his daydream, his face jokingly judgmental. "This is pathetic."

"You can see the heart eyes from a mile away," called a female voice, and they turned around to see Angelina and Alicia making their way through the crowds. "If it didn't interfere with our Quidditch chances, I would even say it's cute."
