6. THE CHARITY SHOP DAY

One week later!

On the first day of Fest - THE Charity Shop DAY
The rules for this charity fundraiser were whoever that opened a shop and collected the most amount for the charity would be awarded and could also decide how to use that money for charity.

Aria set up her shop for charity day and named it FOODIE MANIA!!

The shop was running smoothly with students complimenting the food items. She also had a Coupon game that offered $2, $5, and $10 discount coupons. The rush for the shop increased more than the others, comparatively. It was just 1 hour since the shop opened and she already collected an amount of $578. She was on cloud nine as her shop was running smoothly and better than anyone else.
Then comes Kylian to pay a visit
Kylian:" How much did you collect?"
Aria:" Oh, not much just $575 What bout yours and Luca's!?"
Kylian: "We both have a total of $698"
Aria:" That's a pretty great man"
Kylian:" Now, please feed me something I'm hungry as fck"
Aria: "What do you want!? We have lots of varieties tell me whatever u like the most!!
Kylian:" I'll have whatever's your favorite!"
[After 5 mins, Aria made a taco for Kylian]
Aria: "Hope you'd like it."
Kylian: (Kylian takes a bite) "damn, that's fckin delicious, Aria!! Where did you learn to make this!?"
Aria: (blushing) "Erm... ah...you got something on your lip."
Kylian: "What, where? Here?"
Aria: " Erm Nahh a bit to the left."
Kylian: (with pointing a finger on his lip) "Aria, could you please?"
Aria: "Yeah, sure!"(started to wipe the mayo from the bottom of Kylian's lip using a paper napkin and Kylian had his eyes locked on Aria's!)

Just then walked in Adrian. His eyes instantly zeroed in on Aria's hand on Kylian's face. His jaw clenched,
. "What's going on here?" he demanded, voice low and possessive " Am I disturbing something?" he asked with a confused look on his face.

Aria quickly pulled her hand back, feeling the heat rise to her cheeks. " He had something on his lip," she explained, trying to keep her voice steady.

Adrian stepped closer, his intense gaze never leaving her. " Is that so?" he murmured, his tone dangerously soft. He glanced at Kylian, who shrugged nonchalantly. "Just mayo bro, chill," Kylian told Adrian in a playful tone.

Adrian's eyes flickered back to Aria, a mix of jealousy and amusement playing in them. " Next time, let me handle it," he said, his voice a low growl, as he gently took her hand. "Got it?" Aria nodded, with her heart racing, "GOT IT!" (Aria in her head, " What in the world did I just agree on, and what crap was that?? This guy, what does he think of himself and how did I let him?") " what happened where'd you got lost?" Adrian asked Aria, waving his hand right in front of Aria's eyes. " I didn't but I rather you get lost somewhere," Aria told Adrian in a pissed torn leaving him hurt, and then he left her stall. Aria felt the pain this time and regretted everything that hurt Adrian but now that Adrian left she couldn't do anything as she had to look after the customers she couldn't go after him. All she could think was about Adrian and felt guilty for her rudeness. Her eyes only searched for him, but they couldn't find him. After sometime, she tried taking out the time and went to look after him only to find him with Hailey. She then saw Hailey pressing herself to Adrian.

Aria stood at the edge of the crowded room, her eyes narrowing as she caught sight of him. There he was, the guy she couldn't stop thinking about, and his easy smile lit up his face as he talked with a girl who was pressed much too close for Aria's comfort.

A sharp pang of jealousy stabbed through her chest. She clenched her fists at her sides, trying to keep her emotions in check. Her mind raced with insecurities—was he enjoying her company more than hers? Did he even notice how close that girl was standing?

Her heart ached as she watched the girl laugh at something he said, her hand playfully slapping his arm. She wanted to be the one making him smile like that, the one he was looking at with that twinkle in his eye. But right now, all she felt was a gnawing sense of jealousy and frustration.

Aria's cheeks burned with a mix of anger and sadness. She felt there was something between them, they had shared moments that left her breathless, but seeing him with someone else made her doubt everything. She bit her lip, fighting back tears, as she struggled with the urge to storm over and pull him away.

Taking a deep breath, she tried to compose herself, but her emotions were a tempest. Jealousy, hurt, and a longing to be the one in his arms battled within her. She couldn't just stand there and do nothing.

With a surge of determination, Aria squared her shoulders and started walking towards them, her heart pounding in her chest. She wasn't going to let her feelings be sidelined. If he truly liked her, he needed to see how much this was tearing her apart.

As she approached, she locked eyes with him, hoping he'd see the raw emotion in her gaze. She prayed he'd understand what she was feeling, that he'd reassure her with a look, a touch, anything to show that she mattered more than anyone else. But he didn't, instead he bought Hailey more closer to him leaving no space between both of them. Aria didn't understand why she was devastated seeing Adrian with her. She was second away from breaking down in tears so she pulled herself together and made space for her to squeeze and move out from the crowd, hoping maybe Adrian would follow her but instead, Kylian did and stopped her with a firm grip of his hand on hers! "Aria wait, please stay!" kylian pleaded her "May I have this dance with you?" Aria turned back to hide her tear falling of her eyes that was because of the pain seeing Adrian with Hailey that brought the flashbacks of the worst phase of her life back to her, she wiped it immediately. Turned back around to Kylian "Sure!" Aria said with a fake smile on her face. kylian takes Aria's hand and leads her to the dance floor as the song changes to "Perfect" by Ed Sheeran. As they start dancing, Adrian stands at one end, his jaw tight as he watches Aria gracefully glide across the dance floor with his own brother, Kylian. Her laughter, though genuine, feels like a dagger to his heart.

Aria feels Adrian's eyes burning into her back as she twirls in the arms of kylian. She lets out a light-hearted laugh, louder than necessary, and throws a glance over her shoulder to see Adrian's reaction.

Not to be outdone, Adrian strides purposefully to Hailey. He takes her hand, leading her onto the dance floor with a confident, almost defiant smile with his attention fixed on Aria. As they dance, he pulls Hailey closer, his eyes never leaving the Aria's. Regretting his decision to make her jealous that got backfired on him.

Kylian tries to engage her in conversation, but her responses are distracted, her gaze continually drifting to Adrian. She sees him lean in close to Hailey, whispering something that makes the woman blush and giggle. A pang of jealousy shoots through her, igniting a fire in her chest.

Determined to match his game, Aria leans into Kylian, resting her hand lightly on his chest as they dance. She lets her eyes sparkle with mischief, her laughter ringing out in a melodious challenge. Adrian's eyes darken, his grip on Hailey tightening slightly as he fights to maintain his composure.

The tension between them crackles like electricity, drawing the attention of those around them. The air is thick with unspoken words and simmering emotions, each dance step a silent battle for dominance and control. They twirl and spin, their partners unaware of the deeper, more intense dance happening between Adrian and Aria.

Finally, as the music swells to a climax, their eyes lock across the room. In that instant, everything else fades away. The dance partners, the music, the crowd – all become irrelevant. It's just the two of them, caught in a whirlwind of passion, jealousy, and undeniable connection.

The song ends, and they pull away from their partners, breathless and flushed. Without a word, they start towards each other, their resolve to make the other jealous melting into an overwhelming need to be close. The distance between them closes in a heartbeat, and as they stand face to face, the ballroom seems to hold its breath, waiting for what is about to comes next.

"Kylian, I'll leave now I have to look after the food counter," Aria told Kylian in such a way that it was audible for Adrian too and left.
