𝙇𝙤𝙫𝙚 𝙬𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙛𝙞𝙣𝙙 𝙖 𝙬𝙖𝙮

Coffee shop

My alarm went off at 7am, new day, it's been a week since I started university, me and my best friend selin moved in together and go to the same university. I always wanted to live in Italy, when I was a little girl my mother told me how beautiful Italy was, and showed me a lot of pictures, since then I've wanted to live here. I'm grateful to be here, but I miss my life in Germany, my big sister, my mother. Because they were always there for me when I needed help, but now I'm alone.

I got out of bed and took a warm shower. Warm showers always help me to keep my thoughts together and to relax. It's difficult to live here because I can't really speak Italian, but I took Italian classes when I lived in Germany, so I can speak a little but not much. I mostly speak English here.

After I finished showering, I brushed my teeth and dried my hair. After I finished with my hair I went into selin's room to see if she was awake. And I was not surprised, she was still sleeping.

this girl loved to sleep, she can sleep anywhere, in the car, on the sofa, school, anywhere. I could wake her up normally, but I didn't want to, I want her to be woken up specially. So I went to the kitchen and got a cold glass of water and went into her room. oh she will have a great morning

I tipped the glass of water onto her head and she jumped out onto her bed. She should have seen her face. I love to annoy other people, but when other people annoy me I don't like it.

"Asel!! what the hell " she said slightly annoyed

"get up now sleepyhead otherwise we'll be late"

"oh you'll get it back"

"yeah, whatever"

I left her room and went into my room and opened my closet. I put on baggy jeans and a top. They are comfortable and my favorite jeans. Now all I need is my makeup, which I did too.

I made breakfast for myself and selin, selin came down after 10 minutes. I looked at her with a grin, 'come on, I made us breakfast as an apology for splashing water on your head' she looked at me for a few seconds and then laughed, she came to the table and hugged me 'thank you sell' I smiled at her. And we started eating, we talked about our university and the students there, they weren't that friendly, but there were a few who were friendly. I think I just have to get used to it.

When we had finished breakfast, we both went out and went to the bus stop and waited there for our bus.

After 6 minutes our bus arrived and we went in, selin took out her headphones and we shared the headphones

I leaned my head against the window and thought about My father,he wasn't the best father, which why I moved out from my home. My mother didn't want to divorce him because she was afraid of what other people would say about us. Which is a real sad. It was hell with him. I cried every night. My big sister suffered the most and I could only watch and not do anything because then I would get into trouble

A tap on my shoulder brought me out of my thoughts. "Asel, we've arrived," said selin. I nodded and stood up from my seat. We got out and went into the university. Selin and I didn't have any classes together today so I had to say goodbye to her. I looked for my room, but I had trouble finding it, so I had to ask a teacher. "Scusate, sapete dov'è la stanza 13a?" She nodded kindly and took me to my room. I went in and luckily the teacher wasn't there yet.

I went to the very back and sat down all alone. After a few minutes the the teacher came and started the lesson.

The day at uni was really long, but I managed it. Selin has already left. I wanted to go to the library and study a bit, and then go to a coffee shop.

The library was not far from the university so I walked, I put my headphones out, I love music . Music is like a friend that's always there, It can lift me up when I feeling down, make me dance when I'm happy, and even help me express emotions I can't put into words.
