Brooklynn's point of view
The Love Island Villa, Fiji

I shift around my bed, my eyes squinting open. The lights aren't on yet, but I can't sleep, even though I'm so tired. I sit up against the headboard, looking back and forth between all the beds. I doubt I'm the only person awake, but I don't even know what time it is so I might be.

I grab my water and sunglasses, knowing the lights will probably be on soon. I take a sip from my bottle and put my sunglasses up on top of my head. I sit in silence for just a couple minutes before the neon lights all turn on, the big lights right after.

Everyone starts to move around, groaning and covering their eyes. I throw my sunglasses on, looking to my left, Connor rubbing his eyes before grabbing his water. He laughs upon seeing me, taking a sip from his water.
"Nice shades, Brooke."

I laugh, nodding and thanking him. I grab my mic pack, putting it on, and sitting up more. Connor stands up moving to stand over me right next to my bed. He looks down at me while he gets his mic pack on.
"You weren't too cold or anything?"

"No, I was freezing! I literally got up in the middle of the night and got a hoodie. I already run cold and they have the AC here pumping because of the heat."
He nods, laughing. He brushes his finger against the middle bar of my aviators, poking them before he goes to follow the rest of the guys to the bathroom.

Leah gets up and immediately lays on my bed, wrapping her arms around me. Serena comes next, sitting in front of me and hugging me.
"Good morning my loves."

I yawn as they reply to me, JaNa coming and lying across the end of my bed.
"How was the lonely bed?"

"Good as hell. Slept so much better last night. Minus the cold."

"Well, that's the spirit!"
Liv and Kaylor come to my bed as well, everyone laughing as we try to squeeze six girls onto one queen-sized bed. We all talk for a little, the girls having much more interesting nights than me.

"Girl, I just saw how Connor was just right up in your face with them abs. Poking your face and you two giggling with each other!"
I smile widely, pushing my sunglasses up, having adjusted to the light.

"Stop I know! He came right here and was laughing about my sunglasses. I was smiling like an idiot."
They all laugh hard, everyone commenting on how statuesque Connor is.

After a couple more minutes, we all get up to go get ready, the guys having finished up in the bathroom.

As we all change and do our makeup, I settle on a cute navy blue workout set.
"Jesus, Brooklynn! You out here tryin' to steal all of our mans!"
