MERLIAH AND LANDO had arrived at the infamous restaurant, Nobu. As much as Lando hated seafood and fish, he knew how much Merliah loved the restaurant. He'd endure through it to see a smile plastered on his face.
The Lamborghini Miura pulled the curb in front of the valet, Lando getting out first before opening Merliah's car door, adding a playful bow to tease the princess. She rolled her eyes and handed her black Chanel purse over to Lando. "I didn't know chivalry was still alive."
He gladly took her purse.
Lando gave the car keys to the valet man and followed Merliah into the restaurant.
"Reservation name, please?"
"Under Norris." He spoke clearly, his hand slithering around Merliah's waist.
Merliah tensed up at his sudden gesture. Her knees felt weak just being under his touch. Something about how dulcet his grip felt was soothing, making her loathe for more.
Tints of rose crept to her cheeks.
The hostess scrolled through her tablet and said, "Ah, Mr. Norris and Mrs. Grimaldi. This way, please." She walked out from behind the counter, motioning for them to follow. Lando nudged Merliah to follow the woman, his hand remaining on her waist as the two walked throughout the restaurant.
