THE BRIGHT MORNING rays blossomed upon her porcelain skin as she lay in slumber. The fresh smell of lavender and eucalyptus incense proliferates around her bedroom. With a yawn, she rolled over in her warm bed, her hazel eyes fluttering open with ease.
Merliah Saint sat up on her pillow, peering around her bright room. The four large windows bring light into her elegant bedroom, a warm summer breeze fluttering ever so slightly in.
The beauty of summer made Merliah Saint a happy girl.
Summer and Chanel, of course. The key to any girl's heart.
She extended her arms above her head, arching her back as she stretched her joints. "G'morning Ma'dam, Bella. May you fancy tea this morning? This morning, the kitchen will be serving jasmine or vanilla." Her handmaiden, Adelina, walked in, noticing the princess was awake. Per usual fashion.
"Ah, ehm.. Jasmine tea will be fine. May I get it served in my bedroom? I'd like to have morning tea and scones on my terrace." Merliah requested.
"Yes, ma'dam. May I get you anything else?"
"No, thank you. That'll be fine," Merliah said with a warm smile. "Thank you." Adelina bowed to the princess before walking out of her bedroom.
Merliah was extraordinarily thankful for the life her family's wealth and royal blood had given her. She loved herself, she loved her life, and most importantly, she loved her family. Family was an important symbol in her life. Her father and mother have a big influence on Merliah's life and how she dreams to grow up.
A love like theirs is what she strives to obtain, settling for nothing less.
