Ignoring the pain and redness, the princess fell to her knees as the darkness succumbed around her. The young princess cried on her hands, wailing and letting her pain out after receiving the news that her mother passed on, but also her unborn baby. Baelon.

A few deaths had occurred in front of them in the tournament just hours ago, death was already in of her and she wished she could've seen it better, the death had also taken her mother's life.

Suddenly, large footsteps began to shake the ground of Dragonpit, Princess Daella ignored how close it was getting to her.

The wild beast, The Cannibal lets out a growl. Stopping in front of the princess, he slowly lowered his head in front of her and growled. The Cannibal carefully shook his head to hers, feeling his master's sadness and pain. He begins to shriek.

" sh, shh " the young princess comforted

she placed her both hands on Cannibal's large face and caressed him to calm him down. He breathed, as the large dragon closed his eyes, feeling the warmth and reassurance that comes from her.

"I-it's okay " the young princess reassured the wild dragon.

Princess Daella Targaryen became the youngest dragon rider ever known to claim The Cannibal, one of the largest and wildest beats in the deepest depths inside of Dragonpit.

She was only nine years old when her older sister Rhaenyra took her with her inside so she could see Syrax in close-up.

Daella could remember the feeling of something that was calling her further inside the pit, and that's
where she discovered The Cannibal.

She didn't show fear, knowing it was either life or death she was gonna face in front of an unclaimed dragon. Daella claimed she remembered the first time they flew together up in the sky

Her family was worried about her at first, they didn't trust her enough to ride the second-largest dragon since she was still little at that time, but it was the only point where Daella didn't listen to everyone, and soon loved the dragon.
