I got out of my car just after I'd pulled up to my new school. This was where I'd been sent when I first arrived here. I grabbed my suitcase out of the back and started walking up to the school. I walked in the front doors and there was a massive rush all around me. Everyone was hurrying to get to their classes before they were late. Suddenly the halls were deserted. I stood there by myself and I had no clue where to go. I heard footsteps down the corridor and a lady turned the corner and walked towards me. She smiled.

"Hello, I'm Miss Daniels, the principal of the school. And you must be Macie Adams" she said.

"Yep, that's me."

"I'm not going to throw you into classes on your first day here. I'll show you to your room and then give you a quick tour. Come on then."

She turned and started walking and I followed her. We walked around the corner from where she had just come from and there were a set of double doors. Above it was a sign saying DORMS. She pushed the door open and I followed her in.

"We don't really go much on separating genders here so all the dorms are mixed. You usually have a roommate but I've put you in a room by yourself as there're no other spots for you" she said.

She stopped outside a door with the number 58 on it. She unlocked it with a key and pushed the door open. I sighed, this would be my new room for the next millennia. I went in. The room was pretty plain. There were two twin beds and two closets. The carpet was soft and it smelled like fresh paint. Miss Daniels handed me the key.

"I'll give you a while to unpack and then I'll come back to give you the tour. After that its lunch time which gives you a chance to make some friends. Also there's a communal bathroom just near where we came in. You can freshen yourself up if you want. I'll see you soon" she said and walked out.

I closed the door and dumped my bag on the couch. I went to the cupboard and found a set of bed sheets. After putting those on I opened my suitcase. I pulled out a poster of some random cute guy that I'd grown attached to. After I threw all my clothes in the closet I collapsed on my bed.

A couple hours later I found myself standing in the door way to the lunch room. There were people everywhere and they were all so loud. I tried not to look so nervous but I don't think it worked very well. I slowly started walking to get some lunch from the lunch line. After that I sat down at a table by myself and started eating. Just then a girl sat next to me. She had long blond hair and a smile on her face.

"Hey, I'm Gabbe. What's your name?" she asked.

"I'm Macie."

"You're new here right?"

"Yeah, I am" I said.

"If you want someone to hang out with I'm free. I can introduce you to the guys if you want."

"Maybe later."

"So, did you transfer from a different school or something?" she asked.

"Nah, my parents just spontaneously decided to send me here."

"That sucks, this school is pretty shit."

"Yeah, I figured" I muttered.

"Except the guys are pretty fun."

Just then the doors opened and three guys came in. They were very loud and excited about something. They came over to our table.

"Hey Gabbe, you should see what just happened. It was so funny" one guy said.

"Macie, this is Lewis, Michael and Cas" Gabbe said.

"Hey."

"Oh, you're Macie. Our friend, Xavier wanted you to go see him. He's just outside the dorms" Lewis said.

"Ok."

I found it slightly strange that a guy I'd never met before wanted to see me. Gabbe squeezed my arm reassuringly and I stood up and left the lunch room. Around the corner was the dorms and a guy was standing there. He had jet black hair and piercing green eyes rimmed with grey. His face was angular and his skin tanned light brown. His muscles filled out his shirt and he was leaning against the wall. He looked up when I came around the corner. He looked like one of those male model guys that every girl wanted but couldn't have. Why the hell would he want to see me?

"Hey" he said.

"Hey."

"Are you liking the school?"

"Well, classes haven't started for me yet and I haven't made any friends" I said.

"What about Gabbe, Lewis, Michael and Cas?"

"They're not my friends, I only just talked to them for less then five minutes."

"Macie, they are your friends and so am I" he said.

"I don't even know any of you. How can we be friends?"

"Macie, just trust me."

"No, I won't" I said.

I walked passed him into the dorms and went into my room. I closed the door and stayed in there until it was dark. I opened my door and saw that the hall was deserted. I grabbed my shower stuff and my pjs and walked to the shower room. Luckily it was empty.

I chose a shower and stripped my clothes off. I waited for the water to get hot and then jumped in. After a few minutes I heard a voice. Maybe the room hadn't been empty. There were footsteps and suddenly Xavier was standing there. He was completely naked. I grabbed the shower curtain to cover myself.

"Xavier, what the hell?" I said.

"Macie, I'm so sorry. I thought it was someone else."

He grabbed a towel and wrapped it around himself. He looked embarrassed.

"Who were you expecting?"

I couldn't help but feel a little jealous. He looked so much cuter when he was dripping wet.

"Just a friend" he said.

"You were meeting a friend naked in the shower room?"

"Yeah it's kinda private."

"Right" I muttered.

I grabbed a towel and wrapped it around myself. I walked passed him. I grabbed my stuff to leave. I turned around and Xavier was standing there.

"Macie, I was meeting you" he said.

"What do you mean? You didn't even know I was here."

"I just knew. I've got to go but I'll see you tomorrow."

"Ok" I said.

At this point I was completely confused. He leaned down and kissed me on the cheek. He smiled and then left the room. I slowly walked back to my room. I dumped my clothes on the ground and sat on my bed. This had turned out to be a confusing and weird night.
