Legion: Phantom Rescue

Chapter 1

Previously on The Batverse

"Don't do it." Bruce spoke. Kara lurched forward at Bruce as he quickly grabbed the projector from the cabinet shooting at her sending her into the phantom zone.

     "Incoming call from Alex Danvers." The computer of the Legion Cruiser announced as Mon-el answered it with a smile.

"Alex! Nice to hear from you." He spoke with a smile.

"Mon-el we need you back here. It's Kara she's.. she's in danger.." Alex spoke in tears as Mon-el's smile quickly faded.

     "I'll ask you one more bloody time, ya'hear? You said you saw a bat with a grin, yeah? Where?!" Constantine questioned pinning a man against a bricked wall and gritted teeth.

  "The philosopher's stone." Jesse spoke as both her and Wally exchanged glances, then returning their attention to doctor Mcgee. "The stone was destroyed years ago, it's impossible for there to be a second." Jesse explained.

"My team has been looking into the new multiverse, I wasn't born yesterday, I'm a scientist I know this stuff." She stated as she leaned back in her chair.

Present Day

When I was a child, my planet Krypton was dying. I was sent to Earth to protect my cousin, but my pod got knocked off course and by the time I arrived here my cousin had already grown up and become Superman. And so I hid my powers, until my sister was in need of help, forcing me to reveal them to the world. Now, I protect all of National City from alien life and anything more this city dares to face me with. Or at least.. I used to.. You see, now i'm trapped in The Phantom Zone- again. But this time it's different than before. Scarier even. I'm just hoping my friends and family get to me before it's too late for me.
I am.. Supergirl.

     "Brainy, hey, I need you to grab Mia and get to my apartment as quickly as you can." Alex expressed over the phone, rushing to grab some of her things, packing them all into a bag.

     "Is it happening today?" He questioned curiously over the phone.

     "Yes, Mon-El's on his way to us now so I'm just trying to get everything ready. Can you be here in about 20 minutes?" She asked in a rush of things.

     "Yes, we are on our way now." Brainy spoke as they both ended the call there while Alex continued rushing to hurry up and get everything she needed together.

     "Alex, honey, I need you to calm down." Kelly spoke as she quickly grabbed Alex, attempting to keep her still for a minute.

     "I can't just calm down, Kelly. My sister's been in there for almost a year. She could be scared, hurt- or worse.." She muttered softly with tears and worry in her voice.

     "Don't think like that, ok? I'm sure she'll be fine we just.. we need to think positively. We'll go and get her back I just need you to breathe for a minute and stop worrying ok? Can you do that for me?" She pleaded as Alex sighed lightly, nodding and giving in.

     "You're right.. You're right.. but, I need and want you to stay here please, ok? Watch over the city while me, Brainy, and Nia are away please. Can you do that?" She asked softly as Kelly nodded lightly.

     "Yes, I'll stay behind. Just promise me you'll be safe ok?" She spoke as Alex nodded with a soft smile.

     "I promise." She spoke as they then shared a soft kiss, followed by a hug.
