Legion: Phantom Rescue

Chapter 2

     "Mon el told me to have us meet him down by the bay front but I don't see him anywhere." Alex spoke as she let out a soft sigh, pulling out her phone to get in contact with Mon el. Before she could start calling him however, out of nowhere the Legion Cruiser ship began enlarging itself in front of the team, leaving them left in amazement.

"Well, well, well, if it isn't the one and only Alex Danvers!" A familiar voice announced as the ship's door hatch then opened, revealing Winn Shot smiling down towards his old friend. "So is this everyone who's coming along?" He asked as he began walking off board the ship and towards the team as Alex nodded lightly.

"Yeah, Me, Lena, Brainy, and Nia. Where's Mon El I thought he was coming with us on the mission?" She asked confused slightly.

"Oh yeah he's on the ship right now getting the coordinates and everything prepared for going to the phantom zone. It's not the same as you last visited it I hope you know that." Winn expressed as Alex and Lena exchanged looks for a moment before nodding lightly.

"Yeah, you're not the first person to mention that to me." Alex spoke as she then turned towards the ship, beginning to walk towards it as everyone followed behind her, Winn at her side. "So how's the future?" She asked starting up conversation as everyone walked aboard the ship.

"It's good, I can guarantee you that much. New threats every day as time passes by and new heroes always emerging." He chuckled lightly as everyone turned down a small corridor. "We have other members on the team actually, they just had something else to do in the future so it's going to only be me, you guys, Mon El, and Irma." He spoke as Irma then popped from around the corner with a smile.

"That's my name, don't wear it out." She joked followed by a soft laugh as she looked towards Alex. "Oh, Alex, it's so good to see you again." Irma spoke as she held out her hand as the 2 of them shook hands lightly.

"Hey, Irma. Yeah it's been quite a while since we last seen each other." She spoke as Irma nodded in agreeance with a smile as the sound of pure silence covered the ship.

"Well, we should get moving to the cockpit to meet with Mon El and start preparing our decent and saving Kara. Shall we?" Winn spoke as everyone nodded in agreeance as they all followed behind Winn who then lead everyone inside the large cockpit of the ship revealing Mon El in the center of it running analysis over the Phantom Zone and their mission.

"Well if it isn't Alex Danvers. How are you holding up?" Mon El asked lightly as Alex smiled softly, slowly approaching him.

"I'm doing good, just glad we're finally getting out there to find Kara and bring her home." She spoke lightly as Mon El smiled softly looking towards her.

"We'll bring her back, Alex. I promise. Now, in the meantime we need to talk about quite a bit after we start taking lift off so everyone get settled in and when you're all good take a seat and we'll start taking off." Mon El expressed as everyone started getting situated aboard the ship, talking amongst each other.

"So, this place is really connected with every single universe and planet wishing the multiverse?" Kara asked as the comedic and supposed batman pranced down the corridor they were walking through.

"That's right. When the multiverse was reborn, the phantom zone in every universe experienced a weird phenomenon." The man spoke as he began to recall the day of the event.

     "That's right, move it along big boy." He giggled with a grin as a giant ape started moving away from the bat clown and his territory. "Know who rules this prison next time you find yourself in my territory!" He exclaimed as a loud bang sound erupted throughout the prison.
