She's mine! (END x Lucy)

Chapter Three

She said quitely, shaking his outstretched hand...

It felt like she had made a terrible mistake as he started laughing like a maniac.

The last thing before she became conscious again was the psychotic smile of the demon.

Regaining consciousness, she looked around and saw Gray and Happy but they weren't looking exactly excited to see her. In fact, they weren't looking at her at all but something behind her.

Confused, she turned around and almost screamed as the demon was here. In the real world.

"END..." she heard Gray whisper.

She flinched as she felt the two clawed hands of the demon on each of her shoulders.

"Lucy! Get away from him!" Gray yelled as he called upon his demon slaying magic.

She was lifted up in front of END as he said, "Careful, wouldn't want to hurt her, now would ya?"

"You cocky bastard!" Gray yelled, frustrated.

END's hand reached for her chin as he moved her head to look to the side and she froze.

Natsu.

He was there. Alive but how was he here if END is...

She paused as Natsu suddenly collapsed.

"Natsu!" she exclaimed. She wanted do badly to run to him but couldn't as END held her back.

She could only watch as he writhed in pain till he went still.

Unaware if the others could see, a small blue orb left Natsu's body, moving towards them. It went behind her and she knew END had consumed it.

He consumed Natsu's soul.

She flinched as she felt the throbbing pain of being burned from the inside returned suddenly.

She could feel his breath next to her ear as he whispered, "It seems my curse is getting to you, my dear, would you like me to get rid of the pain?"

She hesitated but nodded, unable to withstand the intense heat of the demon's curse.

She could see the mass of fire on her arm reduce down back to the lines that they had started off as. What she didn't expect was when they began to burn into her skin, permenantly leaving her skin to look cracked by red lines.

She turned to the demon, glaring at him.

"Would you rather have my curse consume you? Because I can arrange for that my dear," he said cockily.

She turned back to Natsu and his limp body.

"What's going to happen to him..." she asked carefully.

The demon shrugged, "The Natsu which you knew was merely just a part of me that was trapped in a different vessel."

She looked away from his body and directed her attention to Gray and Happy who were staring at her.

"Lucy, what's going on?" Gray asked her seriously.

Lucy turned away, not wanting to see the betrayed looks on their faces.

However, when the voices of all the other guild members filled the space, she was hidden by END and she flinched when she saw all of them staring at the group.

"Lucy..."
