The morning sunlight filtered through the blinds, casting a warm glow on his apartment. Yuri laying on the couch, her eyes fluttering open. Grogginess clouded her mind, but flashes of memories danced in her vision - a childhood birthday, a laughter-filled day at the beach, a whispered promise. But they vanished as quickly as they appeared, leaving her with more questions than answers. As her gaze focused, she saw a stranger sitting beside her, his eyes filled with concern. "Hey, good morning," he said softly. "How are you feeling?"
Yuri's mind raced. Who was this man? Why was she here? She tried to speak, but her voice was barely a whisper. "W-who...?"
The stranger's smile was gentle. "You're safe, I promise. You're my girlfriend, and you've been through a lot. You don't remember, do you?"
Yuri's eyes narrowed, trying to piece together fragments. But her memories remained elusive. The stranger's words sparked a glimmer of fear. Girlfriend? No, that couldn't be right...
"No," she whispered, trying to sit up. "I...I don't know you."
The stranger's expression turned reassuring. "It's okay, baby. You will. You just need time."
"What...what happened to me?" she asked, her voice shaking. "Why can't I remember anything?"
Taehyung's expression turned solemn, his eyes glinting with a hint of coldness. "You were in an accident. A car crash. You don't remember because...it's better that way."
She looked at him, confusion and fear etched on her face. "Better? What do you mean?"
He stood up, his movements economical, and walked to the window. "You'll remember when the time is right. Until then...just rest."
She tried to sit up again, but a wave of dizziness washed over her. Taehyung turned back, his eyes narrowing. "I said rest."
He walked back to her, his movements stiff, and handed her a glass of water. "Drink this. You need to stay hydrated."
She took the glass, her hand touching his. For a moment, their eyes locked, and she saw a flicker of something - concern, perhaps, or even love. But it was quickly extinguished, replaced by his usual cold demeanor.
"Who are you?' she asked again, her voice barely above a whisper.
He smiled, a thin, mirthless smile. "Kim Taehyung, your boyfriend. Now, rest."

Jimin stepped off the plane, exhausted from the long flight. "Yuri baby I came back just for you" he whispered to himself.
As he made his way through customs, his phone buzzed with notifications. He scrolled through the messages, his heart sinking with each passing line. 'Family involved in fatal car accident... Couple deceased... whereabouts unknown.' his heart stopped for a while when he saw the photo of the couple.
Panic set in, his mind racing with worst-case scenarios. He rushed through the airport, his eyes scanning the crowds for a glimpse of her. But she was nowhere to be found.
He tried calling her phone, but it went straight to voicemail. He sent messages, but they remained unread. Desperation clawed at his chest as he hailed a taxi and sped to his house.
"Sam? You heard the news!! You knew about it? WHY THE FUCK YOU DIDN'T INFORMED ME ?" he said trying to calm his racing heart.
_____Yuri watched Taehyung cook in the kitchen, his movements graceful. She felt a pang of longing, of belonging. But, really? Why couldn't she remember? She looked away, her heart racing.
She sat on the couch, her eyes closed, concentrating. Fragments of memories danced in her mind, but they vanished like smoke. She gripped her hair, frustrated. Why couldn't she remember?
Taehyung's voice broke the silence. "Hey, don't push yourself." She opened her eyes to find him standing before her, his gaze gentle. But there was something in his eyes, a hint of intensity that made her shiver.
______Jimin's eyes blazed with determination as he barked orders into his phone. "FIND HER, NO MATTER WHAT IT TAKES. I WANT TO KNOW WHERE SHE IS, WHO SHE'S WITH, LEAVE NO STONE UNTURNED."
His men scrambled to obey, aware of the urgency in Jimin's voice. They had failed him once, but they wouldn't fail again.
Jimin's mind raced with possibilities. If Yuri wasn't in the accident, then where was she? Was she in danger? Was she alone? Yes he got to know that only her parents were involved in that accident but Yuri ? She wasn't even at house.
Jimin's grip on his phone tightened. He would stop at nothing to find Yuri, to protect her.
The search began, a vast network of eyes and ears scanning the city for any sign of Yuri. Jimin waited, his heart pounding with anticipation, his mind fixed on one goal: finding the woman he loved.
_______Taehyung's eyes clouded over, memories he thought were long buried rising to the surface. He was 11 again, fleeing the horrors of his past alongside his little sister. But fate had other plans. When a car hitted them, not planning to kill them but they were injured.
The man who was driving the car, saved them, gave them a hand to stand up who raised them as his own, had been a savior.
But Taehyung's mind had twisted that kindness, using it to fuel his own darkness. He thought of Yuri, of his plan to manipulate and use her. A bitter smile twisted his lips. He had become what he once despised - heartless, cruel.
The memories lingered, a reminder of what he had lost, of what he had become. His sister's laughter, her smile... all silenced. He felt the weight of his guilt, his shame. But he pushed it aside, embracing the numbness that had become his shield.
And yet, Yuri's innocent eyes haunted him, piercing the armor he had built around his heart. He couldn't let her in, couldn't let her see the real him. But the memories... they lingered, a constant reminder of his own heartlessness.
