Yuri struggled to zip up her gown, her fingers fumbling with the delicate metal as she muttered under her breath. She had been looking forward to this day for what felt like an eternity, and now, the zipper seemed determined to ruin everything. With a frustrated cry, she tossed her hands up in the air, just as the door creaked open and Hana entered the room.
Hana's gentle gaze swept over Yuri's flustered form, a warm smile spreading across her face. "Let me help you, dear," she said, gliding across the room with a soft rustle of her own dress.
As Hana expertly zipped up the gown, Yuri felt a lump form in her throat. She had always admired Hana's strength and kindness, and in this moment, she felt grateful for her guidance.
Hana stepped back, her eyes locking onto Yuri's face. For a moment, they just gazed at each other, the air thick with emotion. Then, Hana's voice cracked as she whispered, "I never had any children, Yuri, but never forget... if you ever need your mother, I'm right here, my baby."
Tears pricked at the corners of Yuri's eyes as Hana enveloped her in a warm hug. Yuri's own emotions overflowed, and she sobbed, feeling a deep sense of love and connection with Hana. The older woman held her close, stroking her hair as they both cried, the tension and joy of the moment washing over them.
Just as they were composing themselves, Jungkook entered the room, resplendent in his formal attire. His eyes scanned the scene before him, and a hint of a smile played on his lips. "Don't you think that if you cry, all your makeup will be ruined?" he asked, his voice laced with gentle teasing.
Jungkook's eyes met hers, and for a moment, they just looked at each other, the connection between them palpable.
Jungkook's gaze roamed over Yuri's face and form, taking in the elegant white gown that hugged her curves, the loose curls cascading down her back, and the delicate flowers in her hair. His heart swelled with pride and adoration; she looked like an angel, radiant and beautiful. The subtle swell of her belly, a testament to their growing family, only added to her loveliness.
As he gazed at Yuri, Jungkook felt an overwhelming sense of protectiveness wash over him. He would do anything to safeguard his brother's fiancée and their unborn child. He would be their rock, their shelter, and their home.
Yuri stood in front of the closed door, clutching a bunch of lilies in her hands. Her heart skipped a beat as she wondered who would walk her down the aisle. Would it be Hana, who had become a mother figure to her? Or perhaps someone else entirely?
As she pondered, Jungkook's voice broke the silence. "I'll walk you down, Yuri."
Yuri's eyes met Jungkook's, and a soft smile spread across her face. In that moment, she knew that she was exactly where she belonged - surrounded by people who loved and cherished her.
Hana, still emotional, smiled through her tears. She had never felt so grateful to be a part of this little family. As she gazed at Yuri and Jungkook, she knew that she would always be there to guide and support them, no matter what life brought their way.
