>Chapter III<
I tried my best to fall asleep, but I just couldn't. After yesterday, I kept on seeing shadows at my window, but I convinced myself it was just cars passing by. A gust of wind flew in as I sheltered myself in my blanket. They knew. They knew. They knew. They'll take me away.... just like Vincent. They cannot prove I'm gifted. I control my pictures whether it can be animated or not. Of course the guards themselves were gifted... How can I escape this?
I looked over to my book bag that was leaning on my computer chair. Brilliant Allie. I wrapped my blanket around my body and got out bed. I slowly walked towards my book bag and sat on the computer chair. I opened it and took out a pencil and my drawing pad.
I wish Vincent was here right now. If he was, I wouldn't have to go through this mockery. I hid from the world to have it crashing down on my shoulders. I have tried to draw him though, but every time he came out, there was always things wrong with him. He never even talked. I then began to flip through my un-animated drawings. Flowers, trees--- basically nature. I never used my gift against anyone, I always used it for myself. I always drew my surroundings and embraced it.
I looked down onto my drawing pad. All of my art work came to life just by a simple mental command. Life is truly cruel. I kept on wondering why hadn't Vee or Merrick tell me they were gifted? Did they not trust me? I was the best person to keep secrets, but this... this was outrageous. My best friend doesn't even trust me.
Silence overcame me as I refused to shed tears. I heaved a sigh and tried to remake the drawing of the room I made earlier. I didn't include the couch and blanket since I didn't have a friend who needed it. I scanned the drawing of every detail. I nodded and then the picture flashed.
Everywhere was fading and then I happily closed my eyes. It felt like I was floating until I suddenly felt something grab my hand and came crashing to the ground. I yelped in shock as a man in torn clothes who looked down and was holding my hand.
"W-what... a-are you d-doing here?" I said a bit afraid. "Who a-are you?"
"Me..." he said in a sad yet deep voice. "Who am I...?" he whispered.
"Why are you here in my creation?"
"Your creation you say...." he said barely audible. "So... you're Allie..."
"Yes...."
"I see... so it is you who has trapped me here... for what has seemed like an eternity." he whispered.
Wait... was this the man? I tried to pull my wrist away but he tightened his grip. He looked up at me, his now long hair down to his back, his facial hair taking over his nose down, and his dark black eyes staring into my soul.
"I have wandered here for an eternity!" he shouted angrily. "How could you do this?!"
"I-I'm sorry! You w-were a threat!" I shouted back as I pulled my wrist away.
"NO! YOU WILL PAY!" he screamed as his eyes turned a dark shade of red.
I remembered... he was telepathic. Vee's eyes turned red when she used hers, but not as dark as this man's eyes. Suddenly my head started to severely hurt. I screamed out in pain as I dropped my pencil and drawing pad. I fell onto my knees begging for mercy. Everywhere around me turned black as I was simulated into darkness.
"I WAS HERE FOR AN ETERNITY!" his voice cried.
I looked around for his body, but it was no where to be found. Everywhere was spinning and I couldn't go on any longer. It felt lonely... and cold. Is this how he felt for all this time? But I'm confused! It was only one day! I-I... I'm so sorry I did this to him! I closed my eyes and begged for mercy. My head only started to hurt more until I suddenly blacked out.
