*3rd pov and at the hotel*
Inside the hotel, Charlie can be seen pacing back and forth in panic mode while Keekee walking alongside her owner.
Charlie:Okay. So, the extermination is coming in six months instead of a year! No big deal, just a little setback. Nothing we can't handle. Just angels cutting our timetable in half, but who needs a whole year to save souls, am I right?!
The panic in Charlie began to settle in.
Charlie:And next time when they cut the time in half again, and again, we'll just handle it, right?!
Vaggie grabs Charlie, calming her down.
Vaggie:Yes. We will.
Angel:Oh, please,
The two looked over at Angel's voice to see her sitting on the couch next to y/n.
Angel:ya had less then half a chance when you started all this salvation bullshit. And now...
Her phone vibrates with violent threating messages such as "fucking bitch".
Angel:Ain't no silver lining this time, toots.
Charlie:Sure there is! We just...have to look a little harder for it!
Angel:Well, while you're lookin', the rest'a hell's goin' nuts.
Angel waves her phone in their faces to show what was going on.
Angel:People are already freakin' out about the news. Look at what's happenin' in the Doomsday District.
She scrolls down an article with the bottom showing a demon screaming in front of a fire. Suddenly, a pink message appears which Charlie and y/n noticed.
Charlie:Err, what is a..."donkey show"?
Y/n:Yeah, when was Valentino interested in donkeys?
Angel panics and retreats the phone back.
Angel:Aah, heh, nothin'. My boss, Val, is just freaked out about the news too. Like I said, everyone's losin' their shit.
Now Angel knew that y/n may not be innocent like a child would be despite how sheltered Vox made him, but she definitely didn't want y/n knowing about the wild stuff Valentino does.
Vaggie:Yeah, that's true. Sinners are desperate. Maybe desperate enough to try anything to escape the extermination?
Charlie gasp in realization.
Charlie:This is the perfect time to recruit more sinners for the hotel!
Y/n smiles at her before getting up and walking towards her.
Y/n:That's the spirit, Charlie!
Y/n was soon in front of Charlie.
Y/n:You're seeing an opportunity and seizing it! Good job!
Y/n then starts petting Charlie's head, causing Charlie to smile as she enjoys it.
Y/n smiles as he continues to pet Charlie's head until he heard Vaggie growling at him, causing him to reel back his hand in fear before Charlie grabs his wrist and puts his hand back on her head.
Charlie:Don't mind her. Keep going
Y/n stared at her in confusion for a second before he hesitantly starts putting her again, much to Charlie's pleasure.
Angel was glaring at Charlie.
Angel:Hey.......Those are supposed to be MY headpats
Vaggie was just absolutely baffled by what just happened in front of her.
