The birds chirped.

Kalus moaned to open his heavy eyelids. He wasn't aware that he had slept that long, that Gideon knocked on his door twice an hour
ago but he didn't hear a thing.

He groaned, stretching his arms then flipped over the sheets to expose his naked body and walked to the bathroom. He found himself that he would never get used to the enchanting of his bedroom, and bathroom and how lovely the water felt hitting on his skin. The pressure and the warmth. It was perfect.

After he put on his clothes and fixed everything on himself, he strode out with his black side bag and was welcomed by the male servant.

"Morning sir, the King said I must show you to your office before breakfast," the male servant said.

"And where is he?"

"In the library."

Kalus walked downstairs where his office was and he found out it was not that spacious to the way he thought but it was big enough to fit him and Gideon inside who was already inside preparing his desk.

"Thank you," Kalus said to the servant before he walked out.

He bowed before him and walked out.

Kalus closed the door.

"What do you think about this kingdom?" Kalus asked walking to his desk side. He and Gideon had never had a chance to talk.

"Gold, it's gold," Gideon said with an agreement gesture from his head. "It's huge, and everything is perfect. I mean have you seen the female servants?" he talked with the impression and mouth-watered expression.

"Yes, but let's be careful…. We don't want to do anything now."

"Yes," Gideon agreed.

Kalus checked all the drawers from his desk and saw that they had keys which is something he needed.

The office was mainly black and light brown with white shiny stone floor with lots of shelves but well placed.

The desk for Gideon was placed yesterday after they found out that Kalus had an assistant so the Queen made sure that he also had to have a desk of his own.

Ona had always been an early bed. Most of her paintings were from outside, but that day, she worked in her painting room with the scene of last night replaying in her mind.

She couldn't help from not flashing a smile. It was like she had never seen any man who was that handsome with long and thin lashes. His profile fits her list of a man of her dreams.

Talking about the dream.

Ona had a deep thought last night before being put in slumber. The vague man she had been having a dream about.

Kalus had been giving her the same feelings she felt in the dream and she was sure of it that on that night, the vague man didn't appear in her dream again.

Gosh! She got so excited thinking Kalus was the man in her dream.

The knock on her door stopped her from drawing the nose. She put down the charcoal pencil and walked to the door and opened it.

"The Queen said you must eat breakfast with them, now."

She knew that she wouldn't argue with Nia for not going to eat breakfast. Manners. The guests were there and not only because of the manners and guests, but because it was Kalus. Being close to him gave her something she had never experienced before, butterflies in her stomach.
