It was in the morning when everyone had woken up and paced around in the palace getting ready for the wedding preparation.

Zarek welcomed Ona’s hands in his hands and sat her on the couch. It was time for him to start talking to her as they never had a real chance to talk.

“Your parents will be very proud of you baby girl. I mean, no one deserves this love, treasure, and peace like you and the other ladies, and know that I’m proud of you also,” Zarek said her hand swallowed by two of his. “And I have this gift for you and the baby.”

Zarek gave her a box of jewelry. It was a bracelet a beanie and socks for the unborn baby.

Ona quickly hugged him and said, “Thank you.”

“I’m proud of you Ona, just know that,” Zarek said and well, Ona was not feeling proud.

And the baby stuff just reminded her of being pregnant and again of being pregnant with Kalus’s baby.

The baby kicked, which annoyed her more. She sighed, stood up and said, “Thank you.”

She grabbed the staff and trotted to the bedroom - she put them there and walked out of the palace but came to a halt and warily wandered her eyes to see who was watching her other than the warriors far from her. No one. She walked to the hospital side, on the left side.

While Zephyrus, Zyphyr, Lyrien, and Vyn had disappeared no one knew where they went. The men were at Calanthir Kingdom and searching.

Zephyrus hoped he would find Kalus walking around and enjoying his freedom, but he found the kingdom all dusty with grown grasses everywhere already.

“Where could these two possibly be?” Zephyrus was frustrated and had to admit again that Kalus was good at hiding.

“I think the only person who could know would be the Queen, I hate to say this but they had spent so much time together. There should be a place where Kalus was obsessed with where Ona would know if she tries to think harder about it.” Zyphyr said.

Zephyrus let his frustrations and emotions out of his mouth with a heavy breath, “You might be right, but I don’t want to worry my Queen, I mean she’s pregnant and Kalus it’s the last thing I need in her mind at the moment.”

“Yeah,” Zyphyr admitted.

“Vyn – Lyrien, lets go.” Zephyrus called them out.

“I have found this,” Lyrien said holding a piece of burnt painting. The painting was half burnt, diagonally from the left side to the right.

Kalus.

The painting Ona was happy to burn to ashes like it never exists. It was right there, in Lyrien’s hands.

“Let’s go,” Zephyrus held their hands and teleported back into the meeting room.

While the rest got out. He remained in there and silently.

It was in the morning, even though in the Calanthir Kingdom it was night. Lyrien had a promise to himself that he had to keep.

He was walking to the right side of the palace, kicking pebbles on the way like a teenager and practicing in his mind what he was going to say to Skylark.

I mean, even though Vyn had told him to relax and be calm after he told him, “I think I’m in love, and that person is no woman.”

Vyn had his jaws dropped to the floor. He did not expect that.

“Yeah I know, I’m as shocked as you. But this man is drop-dead gorgeous and makes my heart thud.”

It took a couple of minutes for Vyn to bring back his jaws to their place and took him more minutes to utter a single word, “Wow.”
