It took us a while to walk towards the north, and it took me a while to climb the mountain too.

It became dark when I made it to the top of the mountain. The moon was out.

I was walking to the mountains, ready for any type of ambush attack.

I looked around, I searched for the presence of a demon. I even tried to sniff the scent of a demon. Nothing.

This was weird. There should be a demon around here...

I continued to search the area, gripping my sword, cautiously strategizing on how to attack.

I continued to roam my dark, ocean blue eyes around the mountains, my raven black hair flicked through the wind.

I was staring at a thick, dark oak tree when a demon came leaping towards me.

It was a small fry demon, it shouldn't be that hard to defeat.

Without too much effort used, I slashed it's head as it jumped towards me. It was too slow.

I sighed. Is that it? Is that really it? That's all the demons I could find?

I continued to walk my way down the mountains, then I heard something.

Someone was fighting, using a breathing style.

I looked over to the right side of the lower mountains where it came from. The sun was about to rise, but it wasn't quite out yet.

I started walking slowly and cautiously, my sword pointed forward.

I noticed a familiar breathing style. I swear I know this breathing style somewhere.. I just couldn't piece it up together.

As I was closely trying to remember who's breathing style it was, my heart almost leapt out of my chest when a hand touched my shoulder.

I looked behind me, to find my brother looking at me, with his blue-green eyes.

"Muichiro? What are you doing here?" My focus shifted from the breathing style to the Mist Hashira.

"Onē-chan, what are you doing here?" He asked back at me, seeming confused to find me here too.

"I have a mission here, though I found a demon, it was really weak. How about you?" I shot back.

"Weirdly enough, I got sent here for a mission too. I didn't find any demons like you however." He responded with a stoic expression. He was always like that.

"Ehhh? Why would they send 2 Hashiras here for no reason?" I furiously exclaimed.

"Hey, let's go get Udon! I'm kinda hungry." I ruffled my brother's hair. I had completely forgotten about the commotion I was looking at earlier.

He nodded and followed me back to the town. The sun had finally risen, and we sat down at the Udon Restaurant.

"One Tempura Udon for me please!" I ordered. My brother got a Kake Udon.

"So, Muichiro, how have you been? How have your missions been? Trainings?" I desperately wanted to catch up with my brother.

"I've encountered a few demons here and there but... honestly I forgot how some of them happened. I remember encountering a Lower Moon but it chickened out because the sun was rising." He sighed.

Our udons arrived in no time, and my eyes lit up. I clapped my hands together with a wide smile on my face.

"Onē-chan, how are you and Shinazugawa?" Muichiro looked at me. No curiosity in his eyes at all.

I was a little taken aback by his question. I didn't even think he would be interested to know who my boyfriend was. Guess Sanemi-kun told him.

"We're good. He just walked me to my so-called mission earlier. Why?"

"Nothing." He began eating his Kake Udon.

I looked at him for a while when I began eating my Udon too.

Our meals weren't always really chatty, we would just catch up and eat and greet each other goodbye.

I didn't complain, but sometimes I wished that he would open up to me more. He was the only family we both had left, and I couldn't stand not knowing if he was alright.

Being Hashiras, we were usually apart from each other and we barely had missions together.

It itched me to know about the demons he fight, about his injuries, skills, breathing styles.

However... he didn't seem to talk to me about those stuff that much.

I sometimes envied the Kocho Sisters, who were also another pair of sibling Hashiras.

But I had no right to complain, I loved Muichiro with all my heart and I understand why he's that way. I just want to protect him.

Muichiro's POV

This udon is really good.

Back to Y/N's POV

What is Muichiro even thinking about all the time? I wished for nothing more than being closer with my brother.

It was no doubt that we were always there for each other, but it was different. It was a protective way. I wanted to be there for Muichiro in other situations where he needed an older sister. So without thinking, I blurted out a question.

"Do you have a girlfriend yet?"

Muichiro looked at me, dumb-founded and confused. "Girlfriend?"

"You know, someone you admire... love..." The words I said just started sinking in. Oopsies.

"No... but... there is someone I admire a lot." He replied coldly, but he was blushing a little.

"Oh really? Who is it?" I asked excitedly.

"It's a secret." He said.

What? A secret? He was hiding his girlfriend from me?

"Oh.. well you can tell me if you're ready :)" I smiled at him. I was a little disappointed, but I tried my best to understand him.

I probably wouldn't tell my parents about Sanemi-kun if they were will here.

Muichiro and I continued to talk and eat, as I continued to desperately shift the topic to his girlfriend.

After a few failed attempts, I soon realized that I couldn't get him to share more, so I dropped it.

When we finished, we said goodbye to each other. I even gave him a hug and he returned it by swinging one of his arms around me and patted my back.

As I was walking back to my mansion, my crow landed on my shoulder.

It told me something, something that totally changed everything.

What? It can't be.

There was a sudden change of plans. I'm going to the Butterfly Mansion.
