After a few sunrises and sunsets passed Lyn only just noticed that she hadn't seen Marlow for the last couple of days. It didn't make sense but it seemed as though she had completely left the stadium.

Lyn wondered if Marlow had just simply been busy with patrols...but if that was the case, Lyn would have definitely seen her around somewhere.

Even when Marlow hadn't been assigned the same shift as Lyn, they always seemed to pass each other by the sign in gate or at weapons returns. It was extremely odd that Lyn hadn't come across her returning or leaving from patrols, but what was especially odd, was that she hadn't seen Marlow walk in or out of her and (now) Manny's shared room once in the last few days.

It seemed a tad far fetched but Lyn resorted to believing that Marlow simply no longer was a part of the WLF.

Did she somehow flee out of embarrassment or regret for what she did to Lyn?

Was she kicked out?

Did she not make it back from a patrol?

...Is she dead? And somehow no one's seemed to notice yet?

The thought of Marlow being dead neither saddened nor reassured her. Lyn felt nothing for her anymore, Marlow was now just an empty shell of the person Lyn thought she knew. Lyn thought she'd at least shed a tear or feel even a small wave of grief flow through her body, but surprisingly and rather pleasantly she felt absolutely nothing. It felt like a new start, a twisted sort of closure that was so close to fully being swept away and forgotten except for the fact that Marlow seemed to have disappeared off the face of the earth.

Lyn huffed and pushed aside the inundation of questions attacking her mind.

Abby and Lyn walked hand in hand into their room after an exhausting patrol. As Lyn stepped into the bedroom she noticed her belongings neatly placed around the spacious room.

Lyn peered up at Abby, confusion creased into her dark eyebrows. Abby admired her way down her girlfriends flawless face and smiled, excited to show Lyn her surprise.

"How did you get all of my stuff in here so quickly?" she giggled.

Abby placed her hands around Lyn's waist and reassuringly squeezed her hips. She pointed towards her own impressive muscles, boasting that she didn't need any help moving Lyn's mountains of possessions.

Lyn wanted to reply with a snarky comeback but she couldn't keep her eyes off of Abby's bulging biceps. She bit down on her bottom lip to keep herself from saying something outrageously horny and instead resorted to fantasising about the buff woman in her head.

She looked so perfect, and her muscular arms were practically begging to be touched and kissed; she was irresistible. Her muscles glistened with beads of sweat and were bulging from the pump she earned on their patrol, Lyn was trying her hardest not to stare but was miserably failing.

Abby noticed and smirked down at Lyn, grabbing her jaw and lifting her face up to meet her own. Their lips connected in a slow, deep sensual kiss. A flutter of butterflies in her stomach alerted Lyn of how nervous Abby made her. Lyn felt like she was melting in Abby's arms during that kiss, her touch was so addicting.

"Mmm" Lyn pulled away, immediately regretting that decision.

"I've gotta shower babe" she continued.

"Without me?" Abby joked.
