———Lyn's POV:
The brightness of the sun seeped through my eyelids and pulled me out of my slumber. A thin layer of sweat hugged my skin making me feel hot and sticky. I opened my sleep glued eyes to find the heat source within my bed. My girlfriend.
She looked so perfect, so peaceful. My heart smiled knowing that she didn't have another nightmare.I stroked her long hair that spilled over to rest on my arm, her hair was so beautiful; a harmonious stream of gold and rich brown soft hairs.
Her face was the calmest I've seen it. She looked so soft, so approachable. Vulnerable in the most beautiful way.
Her head rested on my chest, whilst her hands looped around my waist. She held me like a scared child would desperately grasp onto their favourite teddy bear. I didn't want to wake her but I had patrol this morning, so I stayed in bed for only five minutes longer to let her rest a little more.
After carefully pulling her arms off my body I began dressing in my usual outfit for patrol, blue worn jeans and a warm jumper. I pulled on my shoes and ran downstairs to the stables, this patrol would serve as a good distraction from Marlow.

Abby awoke to an empty bed. She groaned as she pushed herself up and off the soft surface. It was her day off and she completely forgot that Lyn had a shift so early in the morning.
Although Abby ensured that Lyn and Marlow wouldn't live in the same room anymore she felt like what she was doing wasn't enough. She wanted to beat Marlow's face in and kick her in the stomach for what she did to her girlfriend. No, she wanted to do so much worse than rough her up a little. She wanted to kill Marlow with her bare hands.
Abby spent most of her morning coming up with ways to murder Marlow. A slow death maybe? In which Marlow would be tied down and cut into like a specimen up for dissection. Or, maybe Abby should tie her to a tree and carve Lyn's name onto Marlow's body a thousand times, truly letting her know who got the last laugh.
Abby shook off her maniacal thoughts and took out her burning anger in the gym. If she didn't distract herself with energy exerting exercise she couldn't trust herself to stay still and not add another person to her kill count. However, Abby knew that exercising in the gym for two hours would only prolong the inevitable. Revenge.
On the way back to her room Abby was deep in thought, fighting an internal battle.
To murder or not to murder?
Of course , Marlow deserved it, that perverted bitch deserved to be put through every torture method in existence for even laying a hand on Lyn. However, Abby knew Lyn and the WLF wouldn't agree with her choices. Betraying the WLF by murdering a fellow soldier would only fuck up Abby's own life and would probably lead to her getting kicked out of the compound.
Abby also knew that Lyn wouldn't agree with such a severe, finite punishment for Marlow. Lyn was much more forgiving than most and just wanted to move on and forget about the whole ordeal.Abby pursed her lips and wondered but how will she be able to move on when Marlow lives on the other side of the wall from her? Lyn will most likely still see Marlow in the hallways, around the base, possibly even on patrols.
Just then, a convenient idea lighted in Abby's head. Maybe Marlow will just have to disappear.
Just as Abby was about to open her room door she caught a familiar figure moving in her periphery. She knew who the person was but debated on whether to approach them or just enter her room.
Fuck it.
