Then the conversation is continuing, and Y/N held up his hands, still pretending to be innocent.
"Oh, you know, topics like your personal life or your emotions. Those kinds of sensitive topics." Loona raised an eyebrow again, clearly not buying his act.
"Uh huh. You sure you aren't just trying to get a rise out of me?" Y/N shrugged, a smirk on his face.
"Who, me? Trying to get a rise out of you? I would never." Beelzebub snickered, clearly enjoying the banter.
Loona rolled her eyes, not believing him for a second.
"Yeah, sure. You're a saint. I bet you've never tried to get a rise out of anyone in your life." Y/N feigned shock at her accusation.
"Me? Never. I'm an angel. Ask anyone." Beelzebub couldn't hold back her laughter anymore, and let out a loud cackle. Loona couldn't help but chuckle at his act.
"Oh, please. An angel, my foot. You're about as innocent as a devil." Y/N gasped, playing up his shock.
"Me, a devil? How dare you make such accusations against me?"
Beelzebub, still laughing, butted in.
"Oh come on, Loona. You know he's a total devil. And you love it." Loona rolled her eyes, but couldn't deny Beelzebub's words.
"Yeah, yeah, I know. He's a total troublemaker. But hey, it does keep things interesting around here."
Y/N placed a hand over his heart, feigning offense.
"I take that as a compliment, you know." Loona smirked.
"Of course you would. You're such a troublemaker, you probably take anything as a compliment. Even things that weren't even meant to be compliments." Y/N chuckled, not denying her words.
"Hey, I'm a glass half full kind of guy. I can find the positive in anything. And if that means taking things as compliments that weren't meant to be, well, so be it." Beelzebub chimed in, still laughing. "You're such a cocky bastard, you know that?"
Y/N just grinned. "I prefer the term 'confident,' thank you very much." Loona smirked, enjoying the banter. "So confident you border on arrogance, more like it." Y/N feigned hurt again, placing a hand over his heart.
"Ow, ow, my fragile ego. You two wound me with your harsh words." Beelzebub snickered, clearly amused by his act.
"Oh, we know your ego isn't that fragile. You're probably secretly enjoying this." Y/N grinned, unashamed.
"Guilty as charged. I love a good banter session, and you two are always good for a laugh." Loona rolled her eyes but couldn't help but smile.
"Yeah, yeah, we know we're entertaining. But don't get too cocky. We can give as good as we get, you know."
Y/N chuckled, still smug.
"Oh, I have no doubt about that. But you know you love it when I get all cocky and confident. It's part of my charm, after all." Beelzebub snickered again.
"Yeah, your 'charm'. That's one way to put it."
Loona chuckled.
"More like your ego getting out of control if you ask me." Y/N placed a hand on his chest in mock offense.
"Oh, come on, you guys. A guy can't show a little bit of confidence without being accused of having an overinflated ego?" Loona rolled her eyes.
"You don't show a 'little' bit of confidence. It's more like an overabundance of it, if you ask me." Y/N feigned shock again.
"An overabundance, you say? Me? I think you two are just jealous of my confidence and charm." Beelzebub chuckled, clearly enjoying the banter.
"Jealous? Please. We're just not afraid to keep you in check when you start getting too full of yourself, that's all." Y/N raised an eyebrow, a smug smile on his face.
"Oh, so you think you can keep me in check, huh? I'd like to see you try."
Loona crossed her arms, a challenging look in her eyes. "Oh, we'll gladly take that challenge. You might be confident, but we know how to knock you down a few pegs."
Beelzebub especially would know how, since with them good friends and all. Y/N leaned back, a confident smile still on his face.
"Is that so? I'd love to see you try. But I doubt you could take me down a peg even if you tried."Beelzebub and Loona shared a look, smirking.
"Oh, really? You think we can't take you down a peg or two?" Loona's smirk grew wider. "Challenge accepted."
Y/N chuckled, clearly enjoying the challenge.
"Bring it on, then. I'm eager to see what you two have got."
Beelzebub grinned, her eyes sparkling with excitement.
"Oh, you're going to regret challenging us, mister."
Loona cracked her knuckles, a wicked smile on her face. "You have no idea what you've gotten yourself into."
