Naveen paced outside the sleek research lab, his mind swirling with disbelief.
Just today morning, he had heard from a that Rajveer, his closest friend since childhood, had secretly gotten married.
What was more shocking was that no one knew who the girl was.
Naveen couldn't wrap his head around it.
Rajveer, the one who always shared every detail of his life, had taken such a monumental step without a word.
Determined to get answers, Naveen made his way to Rajveer's office and planned to take Shalini therefore he thought to informed her about his arrival but thought to surprise her.
As he entered the lobby, he was greeted by the familiar sights and sounds of the bustling corporate world.
The receptionist recognized him and gave a friendly nod before directing him to Rajveer's cabin.
But Naveen changed his way and moved to Shalini's cabin.
Taking a deep breath, walked down the corridor, his footsteps echoing on the polished floor.
When he reached the door, he hesitated for a moment, then knocked firmly. A muffled "Come in" followed.
Pushing the door open, Naveen found Shalini at her desk, engrossed in a stack of papers. She looked up, surprise flashing in her eyes.
"Naveen! What brings you here?" Shalini asked, rising from her chair.
"I will answer all your question but first came with me without questioning me" Naveen announced and grab her and started leaving the cabin with her.
In the way of Rajveer's cabin Naveen aware Shalini about the reason of his arrival at Kingdom.
After knowing the reason of Naveen arrival tension was palpable as Naveen and Shalini stormed through the glass doors of the office building.
He heard the shocking news just this morning: their close friend, Rajveer, had married an unknown girl without telling anyone. The very idea seemed preposterous, given how tightly knit their friend group had always been. As they made their way to the elevator, Naveen clenched his fists, while Shalini eyes burned with a mix of anger and betrayal.
Naveen and Shalini reached Rajveer's office door first, knocking loudly and then pushing it open without waiting for a response.
Inside, Rajveer looked up from his desk, his expression shifting from surprise to concern. "Naveen Shalini, what’s going on?" he asked, standing up.
Naveen didn't waste any time. "What’s going on? That’s what we came to ask you!" he shouted.
"We just found out you got married, and you didn’t even bother to tell us! Who is she, Rajveer? Why all the secrecy?"
Shalini stepped forward, her voice shaking. "We’ve been friends for years, Rajveer. How could you do something so big without even telling us? We don’t even know who this girl is!"
Rajveer sighed and gestured for them to sit, but they remained standing.
He ran a hand through his hair, clearly distressed. "I know you're upset. I’m sorry you had to find out like this. Her name is Naina. We met a week ago, and things moved quickly. We are different apart from eachother but due to some sircumatances we decided to get married."
Naveen scoffed. "A week? That’s insane! Why the secrecy? Why didn’t you introduce her to us?"
Rajveer looked down, his expression somber. "It wasn’t about keeping secrets from you all but we have some personal issues we are dealing with it, and we didn’t want to make things public until we felt ready. We eloped because we didn’t want a big, stressful wedding. We just wanted it to be about us."
