Present
Amethyst had awoken from her sleep when she had heard the Warp, thinking it was just Garnet or Pearl leaving to fight someone, but then it clicked. There is no one to fight. She sprung up from her bed and sprinting out of her room and down into Garnets. "OH MY GOD THEY TOOK GARNET." She immediately ran out of the Temple and into Stevens old room, looking out too see no one on the Warp, but hearing low talking from the kitchen area.
Amethyst sprung into action, taking out her whip and wrapping it around the first figure she saw, which so happened to be Iris. "GATCHA! OH GARNET I CAME TO HELP YOU-"
"Would you shut your mouth Amethyst!" Garnet shushed her, putting a hand over Amethyst's face, before unraveling Iris.
It wasn't long before Greg and Pearl were in the living room confused and dazed, "Wha- What's going on?" Greg asked.
"Yes. What causes you to wake me up from a precious slumber?" Pearl nagged.
"GARNET HAS A SECRET FRIEND WE DONT KNOW ABOUT!" Everyone wenced at Amethyst's yelling with excitement and shock.
"What?!" Pearl yelled absolutely astonished at the fact that Garnet would keep a friend a secret.
"Shhh! No! Noooo! She's not secret! I just haven't told you about her." Iris giggled cause it seemed as if her friend was nervous about the subject.
Sure Garnet didn't tell anyone about the existence of Iris, let alone know that Garnet doesn't sleep anymore because she spends all hours of the night conversating and hanging out with Iris. I mean it's not like we need sleep anyway. However they couldn't think of a reason why they would want to hide Iris. Maybe it's because she doesn't want Iris to be impressed with Amethyst, or Pearl like she is with Garnet. Garnet can say one word and Iris would swoon over her. She likes that feeling, the feeling of both of her friends' eyes staring up in admiration at her.
"So when were you?!" Pearl hasn't nagged in ages, but this just brings up feelings about Rose, trauma almost.
"I'm sorry gems, but-" We've been opening up to her more than we do you? That she gives us a feeling we can't exactly explain? "she only visits at night and I didn't think you would want to stay up every night to join us." Garnet straightened her visors.
"Woah! You've been stay up every night?!"
"Doing what? What could the two of you been doing at night? And you had to hide it from us!"
Garnet paused, "We are just friends. She astral projects here. She is someone that I feel that I can confined in. She's a good friend." She paused again, "And she brings weed." A small smirk at the corner of her lips, while Pearl is freaking out and Amethyst is getting hyped up.
"OH DEAR!"
"OH AWESOME! HAHAHA! LEMME SEE!"
"I haven't had that in ages..."
Iris smiled at the chaos, before turning to Garnet. Pearl was freaking out about how bad it is for you, Greg was reminiscing in his past, and Amethyst was talking about fun it is, trying to change Pearls mind, now the two are arguing.
"Let's leave before they follow us." Garnet whispered mischievously. Iris giggled softly and followed the two of them leaving the group.
Minutes later Greg noticed, but the other two were still arguing, "Uh... Guys... I think they left." No one acknowledged. "I'm going back to bed."

Garnet had taken Iris up to Stevens flower dome and they took a seat behind a large plant, keeping the light off in case someone tried to look for them.
"Phew! I think we are good." The fusion chuckled, picking a flower from the plant and handing it to Iris. Then it clicked. We like her more than friends. BUT WE'RE MARRIED!!! OH MY GOD YOU'RE RIGHT!!!
Garnet had a blank face staring at the girl in front of her, in complete shock and dismay.
"Garnet? Are you okay?" Iris asked, her voice angelic. Her icey side soothing her fiery nature. She's beautiful... Uh- I- I mean you are too my Sapphire! I know dear. Just look at her.
Iris reached up to grab the glasses off of Garnets face, she did nothing as Iris had placed the visors in her lap, admiring Garnets eyes, who's admiring her.
Is it obvious. Oh definitely.
Garnet didn't feel uncomfortable, in fact she has never felt uncomfortable with Iris.
No words were exchanged, all were silent except in Garnets head.
Wait a minute. If we go for Iris, wouldn't that tear us apart?...
OH MY GOD WE CAN NOT FEEL THIS WAY FOR HER!
But we can't get rid of her! She's our friend!
But this could never work out with her! She doesn't even know we exist!
It was like that was the trigger. Garnet quickly hugged herself, struggling to hold herself together. Literally. Iris was panicking as Garnet began to glow and two gems appeared.
"Garnet?" She asked placing a hand on one of Garnets arms before she was split into two different people.
On the ground before Iris were two smaller Gems. "WELL NOW SHE KNOWS!"
"Iris!" Sapphire gasped, running up to the girl on her knees, face height with the blue and red gem. Sapphires hands on Iris's face. "My dear, we did not mean for you to meet us like this." She took her hands back, which were freezing to Iris, leaving a shiver.
"You both are so beautiful..." Her eyes were wide with glistening stars, in awe, leaving the gems shocked and blushing. "No wonder Garnet is such a beautiful being." Iris gasped.
Iris reached out for the two, who took her hand and walked closer almost as if in a trance. Ruby and Sapphire could hide anything from anyone, but Iris. Iris hit something different in their gems. It was like she was one of them. In their circle. Ruby and Sapphire could always talk about anything and everything with each other, they have never been able to find another person like that, but they guess Iris is different.
"Oh Iris, you are just as a beautiful being as we are combined. Literally." She giggled, talking about her and Ruby.
