I enjoyed the show so much, singing along to every single song. Some fans came up to me, and we exchanged friendship bracelets. During "Mastermind," someone from security came to me, indicating I had to follow him back to the dressing room so we wouldn't get caught up in the crowd when everyone leaves. I followed him, a little disappointed because I couldn't watch the last songs but excited to finally know why they wanted to talk to me.

He led me through the hallways of the stadium. He opened the dressing room door and left, letting me alone. I looked around; there was a nice sofa facing the door in the middle of the room behind a glass coffee table, with outfits everywhere. I got closer to them. They were beautiful. I took the other blazer from "The Man," as the other one should be next to the stage, and tried it on. I was looking at myself, giggling in the mirror, when the door opened. It was Taylor, Tree, and John.

I stopped what I was doing and immediately put the blazer back.

"Sorry, I didn't mean to touch anything. It's so beautiful I couldn't help myself," I said, blushing even more.

"Don't worry, honey," Taylor said as she let herself fall onto the sofa and put her feet on the table. "I am so tired. Where is Parker?" she asked.

"He should be here in a minute," Tree answered.

"I'm very impressed, Willow. I couldn't do that," Taylor told me.

I looked at her, confused.

"We didn't tell her yet," John cut in before I could ask what she was talking about.

I was about to protest, but someone interrupted us. He was blond and tall, wearing a blue shirt and jeans.

"Sorry I'm late. How was your show, sis?" he asked.

So he must be Taylor's brother, but I couldn't remember his name.

"They were so fun. A really good crowd," Taylor replied.

"It's good you're here. We have something to tell you," Tree informed him.

I had the feeling I knew him, but I couldn't place it. I must have been too tired to think.

"Okay, I know the pictures that came out are not great, but it's not my fault," he said.

"Not great?! They are really bad, Parker. You're coming out of another woman's apartment. It's the third time this month," Taylor corrected him. "So we all agreed that you have to do something about that. It's not just your image in the media but also for your sister's."

I suddenly realized where I knew him from. I blurted out, "You're the jackass with the coffee!" before I had time to cover my mouth.

Everyone looked at me, and my cheeks turned even redder.

"I'm sorry. I don't know what happened. I..." I was so embarrassed I couldn't finish my sentence.

"Parker, you're the guy who bumped into her and spilled coffee on her dress?" Taylor asked.

"She wasn't looking where she was going," he defended himself.

"I was! You ran into me. And you weren't even nice about it. You didn't care if I got hurt or if my dress was ruined; you only cared about your coffee."

"Okay, calm down, kids," John said.

"Maybe it's not a good idea," Tree said, turning to John.

"No, it's exactly what they both need," he responded.

"So can someone tell me what is going on?" Parker asked.

"Because of your reputation, we think it would be best for you to settle down for a while," Tree explained. "And Willow, you're getting more popular, but you need a little help to become really famous," she turned to me.

"So we thought it would be a good idea for you to get together, not for real, but for the public eye. You'll be seen together for a month before we officially announce the relationship. For a whole year, you'll have to be together—no one-night stands or anything like that," Tree continued.

"There's no way," I protested.

"I agree with the girl. And nobody will believe it anyway. She's not my type," Parker smirked.

"Oh really? I'm not your type? So what is your type?" I asked, taking it personally. His rudeness was really annoying me.

"Brunette, tall, sexy, someone who watches where she's going," he replied.

I wanted to respond, but John stopped me.

"You don't have to like each other. It's a good opportunity for both of you. Parker, you'll improve your image in the media and keep your contract, which the label is ready to revoke because of your reputation. And, Willow, you'll get the media attention you need to become more famous and have more record deals. They also propose to cover all your expenses while you're with Parker. You don't have to really be with each other; it's just an act," he explained.

"Fine, I'm in," I said. "But I have conditions. I have debts I want you to pay off before anything official is announced. I also want you to make a donation to the city orphanage, Saint Joseph. A good friend of mine runs it, and they need money. I also want an agreement allowing me to leave anytime I want without any consequences. If you agree, I'll fully commit to it."

"Fine," Taylor said. "That seems fair. Parker will agree too, so we can conclude the deal." She looked at Parker with a stern look that could scare many monsters.

"Fine, I'll do it," he finally gave in.
