Elena
I woke up with quite the headache.
It was ruthless, actually. And the swirling sensation I felt in my stomach was not helping matters.
I begrudgingly dragged myself from my bed and got a shower, which aided very little in my recovery.
Breakfast was a hard no go, and so I just changed in to my sweats and crop top and flopped on the sofa. I had a feeling it was a 'rot' day.
Just as I'd pressed 'play' on the soppy Rom Com I'd chosen, my phone buzzed with a text;
Aaron Hotchner, 9:21am
How's your head?
Me, 9:21am
I'd say I've never had any complaints, but I wouldn't know
A poor joke, and one that was horrendously exposing because I had indeed never actually given head before, but I guess I was still a bit drunk because I decided that was the best answer.
When Aaron didn't reply I regretted it massively, however. Perhaps we hadn't bonded quite as much as I thought we had.
Soon after there was a knock at my door, so I reluctantly hauled myself up to answer it.
The last person I expected to see was Aaron. He was standing there in some running gear that made my throat instantly dry – or maybe that was the hangover.
"Good morning," he greeted me.
"Uh...hi Aaron."
I dared not think about how rough I must have looked.
"I got you this," he said, handing me a takeout cup of coffee.
"Oh!" I was utterly taken aback by his gesture. An awkward "Thank you" was the best I could do.
"Do you want to come in?" I asked.
He shook his head. "No, no. I have stuff to do, but I figured I'd drop you off a pick me up."
"I really appreciate it. Thank you." I took a sip of the drink, and it was fucking perfect. "How did you know my drink order?"
"I didn't, but I made an educated guess. You always eat sweet food, so I assumed you'd take your coffee the same way."
If he could read what my coffee order was, I dreaded to think what else he may have picked up about me.
"Well, thank you again," I smiled, though it was a little lack lustre due to the headache.
"No problem." He went to turn away but stopped, added in, "Let me know if you need any help with your...head," fucking winked at me and disappeared down the hall.
What the fuck was that?

My scatter-brained ass had 100% forgotten that I was mean to be meeting Charlie that day for dinner, so when I received a text from her at 4pm to confirm our arrangements, I had to spring in to action.
Fortunately, my headache had subsided as the day had gone on, and after I'd forced down a piece of toast in the early afternoon, I was almost back to my usual self.
