"through a new perspective"

AS SOON AS ARIA walked inside her house, she couldn't help but feel light headed. her nose was tingly and itchy and her lips were pulled into a permanent frown. she was about to cry.

and she did. she broke down crying right in the middle foyer of her home.

"again, aria?" danny turned around and noticed. "what are you crying about now?" he laughed and approached the girl, putting his hand on her shoulder. "i don't fucking know" she answered back. she truly didn't know why either. she was overwhelmed with everything that had happened today. the fact that she left lynn's house when she didn't want to, how they proved the olive theory or how lynn liked girls. it was too much for aria to handle.

tears were going down her face, creating tear stains as more flooded her face. danny sat her down and they had a sibling talk. "tell me why you're you're crying. you can't cry for no fucking reason. also i thought you were over your depressed phase" he meant the whole week of aria crying as depressed.

she sat on the soft couch trying to figure our where to start. her mind was orbiting a thousand different topics. for starters how jealous of danny's and lori's relationship that reminded her of theo.

"i don't know danny." she managed to get out from under her heavy tears. he exhaled and looked the girl in the eyes. "is this about lynn?" he asked. her eyes widened that danny figured it out that fast. she stayed quiet so danny knew he was right.

"why are you crying over her? you just hugged her goodbye" and from that sentence her tears started back up. she covered her face because she probably looked like a psycho. "aria just tell me what it is i'll help you through it"

she decided she had to tell him. who else would she tell? not lynn cause it was about her and zia and margo wouldn't understand.

"lynn liked a girl" she said quietly but he had heard her. "okay? what does this have to do with anything?" he asked.

"she also has never had a crush on anyone else besides a cartoon character and she likes olives and she asked me to come to her soccer game." she bawled her eyes out.

danny sat there, watching his sister cry like a baby. slowly but surely he put together the pieces of the puzzle. he knew why she was crying.

"you have a crush on lynn, don't you?" he said confidently. aria stopped for a second to process what she had heard. she never heard those words out in real life. "what? no i don't" she laughed like it was a big joke. she couldn't like lynn that way. she was a girl and her only close friend. she couldn't afford to lose her.

"yes you do. why else would you be crying like this?" he gave her a questionable look. she had nothing to say back. maybe, just maybe she did like her. that would explain how she just went crazy over nothing. "you know it's totally okay for you to like her right?"

"no it's not danny. this is just a big mistake. im just feeling overwhelmed from all of the times i spend with her because maybe i've never had a friend like her. she's just someone new in my life that's why im not used to the fact that she's so close to me" she wiped her nose, irritated that danny would suggest something like that. but the thing was that lynn wasn't new in her life, she was there all along. "there, case closed" she said as she got up from the coach and into her room with a thumping headache, trying to sort out all of the conversations in her head.
